24 packs of Classic Mythology II by the Pernas

My packs for this set arrived this morning and I have to say I am very, very pleased with the collection of sketches I pulled. I think I can honestly say that I don't think there is bad one amongst them but there are more than a few really good ones :) So many thanks to Elaine and Tony Perna for pulling the whole thing together and to the artists involved for producing such outstanding work. All amazing sketches but that Edward Cherniga sketch really stand out to me, wow, fantastic set :)!

I'm still pretty annoyed at Cherniga about a deal gone wrong, but that's a great card.

I've commissioned an AP from Edward from this set so hopefully all will go well.

There is such beautiful colours throughout the cards in this set too by the looks of it, really well produced and put together, great stuff from Perna Studios

Thanks for the comments guys. I got really lucky with this set but that's what I expected from my previous experience of releases by the Pernas.

One little footnote. Technically, it's probably wrong to describe Ingrid Hardy's piece as a sketch. It's a full-blown miniature painting done in acrylics. The subject being the Golden Fleece from Jason and the Argonauts. It looks a lot nicer in hand than in the scan :)

The Meeks is my favorite of the bunch. What exactly is that on Ingrid's sketch? Looks like the scan didn't pick up the darker details.

I was hoping someone would post some of these. The artists really seem to give their absolute best stuff when they contribute to the Pernas sets. I've got 12 packs coming (I paid for the cheapo shipping =P) so I'm really excited. I'm sure I'll get something I love.

Looks like the scan didn't pick up the darker details.
There's not a great deal missing but the individual scan is better. I'll look into posting it and a larger image of the Cherniga sketch here tomorrow. Way too late now :D

Or at least the John Monserrat.Some do, some don't. The Monserrat says 'ULLR' . Not a name I've ever come across before myself but dear old Google came up with this piece:
