Hello All,

Just a little background on me:

I have been a die hard Kansas City Chiefs fan for years. About 10 years ago I got started on collecting signed mini helmets. It started very slow gradually building to about 14 minis. Then we moved....no finished basement so all my Chief memorabilia sat boxed up for almost the next 8 years.

Finally got motivated to get the basement done. Half of my big family room is theater and KC memorabilia..the other half well the kids own that part...lol. Since my basement has been finished my KC collection has exploded. I have been searching high and low on ebay and craigslist for KC minis and interesting Chief memorabilia.

Interesting Non-Mini Helmet KC Memorabilia:

Pair of seats from arrowhead stadium with the original stanchion from when the stadium was build in 1972.

Framed section of astroturf from Arrowhead stadium when they switched to natural grass in 1994.

Helmet phone.

Dwayne bowe signed receiver glove..made a nice shadow box with some of his cards as the background.

Derrick Thomas signed jersey. It was just a cheap jersey I had when I was a kid. Him and Neil Smith did a signing at a mall close to where I lived. I have it framed and did the background with different football cards of his.

The Mini Helmets, or as I refer to it "My Chiefs Wall of Fame":

I have collected most of these through ebay or fans parting with their own collections. I have the following 33 helmets:

Tony Gonzalez
Trent Green
Larry Johnson
Albert Lewis
Kevin Ross
Will Shields
Willie Roaf
Christian Okoye
Priest Holmes
Neil Smith,
Tamba Hali,
Kimble Anders
Dale Carter/Donnell Bennett
Rich Gannon
Steve Bono
Nick Lowery
Andre Rison
Eddie Kennison
Jared Allen
Marcus Allen
Emmitt Thomas
Vonnie Holliday
Dante Hall
Dexter McCluster
Curtis McClinton
Derrick Thomas/Neil Smith
Brian Waters
Jerrel Wilson
Lloyd Burruss
Andy Reid/Jamaal Charles/Clark Hunt
Warren Moon
Joe Montana/Trent Green/Len Dawson
Derrick Thomas

How did I get here?:

I didnt know what the heck TTM was until just over a month or so ago. I had been searching all over the place for a Deron Cherry signed mini. I was googling and ttm auto came up. I had no idea I could actually write players and actually have a shot at getting an autograph.

So....I became a TTM'er. My first letters of request to sign were to Deron Cherry and Dan Saleaumua. Sadly I have not heard back and I knew it was a long shot. I was reviewing my list of minis and realized I acutally have a lot of guys that are enshrined in the Chiefs Hall of Fame. I set my next sights on writing them.

Who I plan to TTM:

I really only truely follow the NFL and the Husker for college football. I pay attention to what the Royals do bout outside of that I dont follow baseball. My ttm efforts will be about 75% Chiefs with the rest being Husker or other NFL greats. I will be primarily be doing 5x7's or cards if I don't do a mini helmet.

Congrats those look great!!

quick question...what are you using for the return shipping? padded envelope?

Thanks...hope to see more from you!

garpike,

My first one I sent out I sent in a box and included a padded envelope with postage for return shipping. Mr. Arbanas did use my return envelope. He packaged it all back up in the box including my envelope and paid postage back to me.

I don't use boxes anymore. I want to make things as easy as possible for my Chief great. I use 10.5 x 15.25 Scotch Plastic Bubble Mailers. I ship the helmet in its manufacturer case. Shipping is $3.94 via first class for a said bubble mailer filled with helmet in manufacture box, letter, sharpie, and return mailer. Return shipping has been $3.70-$3.76.

I have been scouring ebay for minis. In stored a mini is $25 plus tax. I try to get minis used if I can just to cut costs. I have been averaging pretty close to $15-16 shipped and those are often new helmets. I recently just bought 2 new in box but signed sammie parker minis of a guy for $35 shipped. I flat out told him I didnt care about the parker auto. I was gonna wipe the slate clean to use it on higher priority Chiefs.

I dont know what the standard practice is in the TTM world. It means a lot to me that they sign for me, cause they are my guys...my team. I send a Thank You card with a nice paragraph or so after I receive my mini back. With Mr. Arbanas I included $6 with the Thank You card. He was doing me the honor of signing for me, and did not want him to be responsible for the return cost to me.

That is really cool!!

another question...was the Andre Rison already signed when you got it?
I have been trying to score an auto from him for YEARS and have yet to find an address that works.

I bought the Rison and lone Derrick Thomas helmet from a fan downsizing. He got it at a tristar card show back when Rison was playing with KC.

Out of the big list of minis the only one I got in person was Dexter McCluter at training camp last year. The rest one by one on ebay. I did buy 9 minis from a guy who was selling his fathers sports collection to arrange alternate living arrangements. I mean the amount of sports history..boxing, baseball, football, you name it. The guy could have opened a museum. I bought what minis I didnt have that he had..he had 16 KC minis.

Got another TTM mini today, 5/10/14. #37 for my Chiefs Wall of Fame:

Johnny Robinson

Saftey for Texans/Chiefs from 1960-72
Member of KC HOF
9x All-Star
3x AFL champ 1962, '66, and '69
Super Bowl IV Championship Team

The accolades goes on and on and on. It is absolutely criminal that he isn't enshrined in canton. This helmet is beautiful! Blown away at all the inscriptions. Its always great to learn more about the all-time greats of your team. Very excited to add an all-time great like Johnny Robinson to my Wall of Fame!

Another TTM mini today 5/12/14. This is helmet #38 for my KC Wall of Fame:

Ed Budde

Guard for the Chiefs from 1963-'76
Member of KC HOF
6x All-AFL All-Star
2x Pro Bowler
AFL Champ '66, '69
SB I team and SB IV championship team

He also answered my questionnaire. I asked him why he chose the AFL vs NFL as he was drafted by both leagues. Fred Arbanas was a college teammate and helped sway him to KC. He said the money to play was the same from both leagues.....$8K for signing and $15k per year for 2 years. Times have changes since 1963!

Roger Craig

Former Husker/49er/Raider/Viking
4x Pro Bowler
3x Super Bowl Champ

He signed my black and white Husker photo in blue sharpie. My 49er photo was returned unsigned.

NICE! I went with 5x7 more to cut some costs, especially since I didn't know what my success rate would be. I thought 4x6 was gonna be a touch to small, tried to split the difference.

Another nice mail day today 5/13/14. Got a great Chief response and Husker response today!

Coach Dick Vermeil

Signed the 5x7 I sent beautifully in gold. I am also excited cause he responded with "Send it...Coach Vermeil" to my request to send a mini helmet for his consideration. The Chief Wall of Fame grows......

Tom Rathman

He signed the 5x7 and card I sent. Awesome return from a fellow Nebraskan, arguably the best FB in Husker history, and 2x Super Bowl champ.

I use to never care about the mail. Since I started trying my luck out at TTM, as soon as I hear the mail man I am running out to see if I got anythining. Today was a great day....3 items.

The first, mini helmet #39 to my Chiefs Wall of Fame:

John Alt

Tackle for the Chiefs from 1984-'96
Member of KC HOF (2002)
2x Pro Bowler.

Mr.Alt signed (3/3) for me. He signed my helmet as previously requests, my card, and also thoughtfully replied to 5 questions I had about his KC career. Awesome!

The second item I got today. Its not a helmet but another great piece for my Chiefs themed man cave:

Coach Herm Edwards

Coach Edwards signed (2/3) for me. He signed my 5x7 and card. I did not see any evidence of permission to send a mini helmet. I may submit another request at a later date. Great return from one of my favorite coaches and analysts.

My third and final response:

Dick Butkus

Mr. Butkus signed (3/3) 5x7 for me. I sent a photo for myself, a friend, and my cousin that are huge Bear fans. I asked if he would be willing to personalize it to my cousin and friend. He graciously obliged and personalized mine as well. I made a donation of $15 to the Dick Butkus Foundation. I love this picture!

Got another TTM helmet back today. This is Helmet #42 on my "Chief's Wall of Fame" and the 8th mini I have been able to TTM. Pretty Awesome.

E.J. Holub

Member of KC HOF
Texan/Chief from 1961-1970
5x All-Star
6x All-AFL (5x at LB, 1x at C)
Super Bowl IV Champ
Only player in NFL history to start 2 Superbowls on both sides of the ball. LB in I/C in IV.
1st player to have is # retired at Texas Tech.

Mr. Holub added Super Bowl I & IV to my mini. I am calling this (1/2). I received my questionnaire back, but it isn't in his hand writing. It looks like maybe he instructed a young grandson to write what he told him. Football was spelled Futball. I appreciated the response regardless. I didnt know he was All-AFl on offense and defense as noted in the questionnaire. Did some checking (wikipedia was wrong), and he was 2nd team All AFL at center in 1969. Thank you Mr. Holub!

Fred "The Hammer" Williamson

He personalized and signed in silver. These black and white photos are tough to really see the auto at any distance with black or silver depending on the spot. Pretty cool to get "The Hammer" into the collection. Thanks Mr.Williamson!

The 3rd and final response for 6/7/14. Another NFL coaching great with ties to the Chiefs. He is most recognized as the Head Coach of the Buccaneers and winning a Super Bowl with the Colts.

Coach Tony Dungy

KC Secondary Coach 1989-1991
Head Coach Bucs 1996-'01
Head Coach Colts 2002-'08
Won SB as player with the Steelers
Won SB as a Coach with the Colts
Only player in NFL history to throw and interception and have an interception in the same game. Was emergency 3rd string qb, but played safety for the steelers.

Coach Dungy beautifully signed, and personalized my photo. Inscribed SB XLI champs as well as a bible verse. I had sent a questionnaire, but it was returned unsigned. Thrilled to get a class act like Coach Dungy back! Thank You Coach Dungy!!

Starting the week off on a good HOF note. I got 2 TTM's back, sadly no Chiefs, but 2 HOFer's. The 1st TTM for 6/9/14:

Dan Fouts

San Diego Chargers 1973-'87
6x Pro Bowler
4x All-Pro
1982 NFL MVP
1982 NFL Offensive Player of the Year
Pro Football Hall of Fame Inductee 1993

Wish I could have gotten a HOF inscription, I should have asked. Great return from a great TTMer. Only a 7 day turn around. Thank You Mr. Fouts!!

The 2nd TTM for 6/9/14 is and HOF QB:

Sonny Jurgensen

Eagles 1957-'63
Washington Redskins 1964-74
5x Pro Bowler
2x All-Pro
1960 NFL Championship Team
5x NFL leader in Passing Yards
2x NFL leader in TD passes

Great, great return in just 7 days. I was suprised I go this back, yet so quickly. Inscribed with HOF 83. Thank You Mr. Jurgensen!!

For those considering writing Mr. Jurgensen and use the TTM manager on SCF, Please note his name is spelled wrong there. It is -sen not -son. I wonder if that is why there are so many failures.

14 year vet played for 7 NFL teams
Member of 49er's Super Bowl XXIV Championship team

I am really excited, and really bummed about this next one. My 2nd response for 6/12/14

Paul Hornung

Notre Dame/Green Bay Packer Great
College Football Hall of Fame
Pro Football Hall of Fame
1956 Heisman Trophy Winner
2x Pro Bowler
3x All Pro
4x NFL Champion
Super Bowl I Championship team
1961 NFL MVP

I was really thrilled to get this back, and in just 10 days! I sent it without a donation. It is inscribed with what looks like "1956 Ho" I assume it is referencing his Heisman Year. Sadly despite my chipboard this my first damaged photo :(. Straight on it looks ok. I did my best to take a shot of my crease in the second photo. Regardless, I am very pleased to get this back from such an All-time great! Thank You Mr. Hornung!!

I was concerned I wouldnt get anything back this week. I received one TTM back today 6/20/14. Its another great add for my Chiefs Hall of Honor:

Bill Krisher

All American Guard at OU 1956-'57
Pittsburgh Steeler 1958
Dallas Texan 1960-'61
2x All-Star with Texans
1x All-Pro

Mr. Krisher signed the 5x7 and thoughtfully answered my questionnaire. He also added two 4x6's of his own!

One of the questions I asked is why his promising career came to and end after 2 All-Star games. His reponse, "I wanted to retire to go full time in ministry with the "FCA" home office in KC. Helped move the Dallas Texans to KC in 1962".

It was certainly a suprised to see the additional photos. I have one from his Oklahoma days and one as a Dallas Texan. Thank You Mr. Krisher!!

Been on vacation for the last week. When I picked up the held mail I had 3 TTM returns. The 1st TTM return for 6/30/14:

I received my LOR to sign a mini helmet back from one of my favorite KC defenders. One of the best safety's in Chiefs history next to Johnny Robinson....#20 Deron Cherry . I am really excited with this one. The quest to get a Deron Cherry signed mini helmet is how I ran across the world of TTM. It was my second attempt to get permission. Lombardi Award Winner 1997
3x 1st team All Big 12
2x Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year
3x NFC champ

It is a little hard to read with the black sharpie, but he inscribed it with Go Big Red! and #98. I actually had a biology lab with him back in the day. Cool dude. Thanks Mr. Wistrom!

Kansas City Chiefs CB 1964-'70
2x AFL Champ '66, '69
Member of SB I team
1x Super Bowl Champ (IV)
1x All-AFL 2nd team in 1965

This was a really, really great return. I had to do some digging to find him. He signed my photo and personalized to me as well as answered my questionnaire. He went the extra mile and wrote me a very nice note thanking me for being a fan, he included an additional signed 8.5x11 photo that was printed on cardstock, and also an unsigned program from the Kansas City Hall of Fame weekend in 1994 when Jack Rudnay was inducted. He also returned my unused SASE. A phenomenal success. Thank you so much Mr. Mitchell!!

One TTM response for 7/1/14:

This is my first current player return, I had seen other success by a couple posters and I wanted in on the action. Not a Chiefs, but always wanting him on my fantasy football teams:

Antonio Brown

2x Pro Bowler
1st NFL player to have 5 receptions and 50 yards or more in every game of a season.
1st player to have 1000 yards receiving and return yards in a season.
1 of 3 players in NFL history to have 5 receptions or more in a season.

Mr. Brown signed my 5x7 for me. It had some smears below his name but was able to remove the smear/streaks. What a great player. Wish he was in KC. Have a great and healthy season Antonio. Thank you Mr. Brown!

Definitely worth it! Especially for me where the bulk of my dedication is to the Chiefs. Whats nice about sportscollectors is you can break the categories down to teams, or HOFers. You can see all the recent signings for a specific team.

As far as addresses. I am gonna say the ttm manager for football at SCF is maybe 15-20%, if that of total volume of addresses that sportscollectors has.

Been away at cub scout camp trip for the last 3 days. Got what do me is my holy grail for my Chiefs Wall of Fame as far as TTM goes on 7/11/14. This is helmet #43 added to the wall. I have had some great success with my minis, Johnny Robinson and Dick Vermeil's were probably my favorites to date. This mini is the entire reason I got into TTM:

Deron Cherry

Chiefs HOF Safety
6x Pro Bowler
5x All-Pro
Defensive Player of the Year in 1986
NFL '80s All Decade Team

Mr. Cherry like I said the reason I got into this. This guy as well as Johnny Robinson should be in Canton. I am as excited as any 38yr old man can be on this. Charley Trippi

Thank you so much for the very kind words, I am honored! I was just gonna do mini's, but that project gets expensive. I like with photos the people see them will have a face to associate with the name. I wish I had better success, but I wont complain one bit. I have now had 9 mini helmets signed via TTM, 8 are KC HOFers.

You're very welcome. I understand it gets expensive and it's also more risky and bold to end larger items. I've seen you post this stuff on SCF too and while a return is a return, I have to admit, my favorite part of your stuff is building on your Chiefs mini collection. You never know, those 18 mini helmets very well could find its way back soon and Podolak is a good idea.

Just keep being patient and maybe a little persistent, too. It could really go a long way. Hope you get a nice return this coming Monday. Maybe you'll come up with something even better than what you posted this evening.

Oh I havent sent out mini helmets. For this project I send a letter out stating who I am and what project I am working on. Then when I get the green light in a returned letter of request with their permission, then I send. Not ballsy enough to send and cross my fingers. I had read it is courteous to ask permission for "larger" items, so that is what I do.

One TTM for 7/16/14, and it is a absolutely fantastic addition to my Chiefs Hall of Honor:

Jack W. Steadman

Served as a Executive for the Chiefs organization for 47 years as a chairman, vice president, president, and general manager.
Won 4 championships as a GM, including the SB IV victory
Inducted in to Chiefs Hall of Fame in 2005

This is a special return for me. This along with Willie Mitchell represent the first documented returns on sportscollectors.net. Mr. Steadman played a huge role for the Chiefs. He put my first and last name on the photo, hence the erased part. He replied to my questionnaire in a typed response that he also signed. He thanked me for my letter and said he chose to type his responses for easier reading. He like Deron Cherry answered the questions with a paragraph or more of an answer.

One question I asked him was if negotiations had fallen through with the KC mayor, Mayor Bartle, if there was another place that the Texans/Chiefs organization may have landed. His response:

"There were talks with New Orleans, but the emphasis was on Kansas City and that's where Lamar and I felt the team could be successful. Mayor Bartle was terrific to work with and knew people in Kansas City to support bringing the team here. We've never had regrets."

I am very appreciative of this return. I considering asking to send a mini helmet as Mr. Steadman is in the KC Hall of Fame. Thank you so much Mr. Steadman!!

I have been in a 7 day drought. Not sure if the TTM drought will end tomorrow, but there will be autographs. My son and I are making the trek toe St.Joesph for KC training camp. He gets to do the "Helmet Walk" again. After practice he carries a players helmet. Last year he carried Akeem Jordan's. Taking 3 mini helmets. Trying to decide if I just want one signature or multiple on a mini.

Good luck. Glad there's about to be something. I've missed all your successes.

Another unsuccessful TTM day for 7/30/14. However, we did KC training camp today. My son did the helmet walk with LB Josh Mauga, doubt he will make the opening day roster. He spent some time with the Jets too.

I let my son have a mini helmet to get autos. I brought 3 for myself. My plan was just for one sig on each helmet. A bunch of the big timers road golf carts back to the lockers after practice. I only ended up getting one of my minis signed. I used the training camp program for other autos. On my program I was able to get: FB Anthony Sherman, T Jeff Linkenbach, WR Junior Hemingway, WR AJ Jenkins, QB Tyler Bray, and K Ryan Succop. I will post pictures of that tomorrow.

As for my one mini I got signed........ We were fortunate enough to have Jamaal Charles come up to the fence line. I quickly had my son take off his jersey he was wearing and Jamaal signed that. I also got my lone mini helmet of training camp signed. Awesome!

Awesome success! Charles is an amazing running back and I'm glad he's now getting paid like it!

Wow.... that's incredible! So, I've gotta confess, I'm a die hard Eagles fan, but deep down, the Chiefs are my guilty pleasure. I love the Chiefs, Alex Smith, Andy Reid and Jamaal Charles are a deadly combo. Can't wait to see how far they go this year! Love your thread man, keep it up!

I got my first RTS today from Charlie Joiner. Bummer.

So I had the one RTS from Charlie Joiner. I did however have 2 TTM successes today. Both with Chief ties. If I would have gotten Joiner it would have been all KC ties as he was WR coach for awhile in KC. The first TTM response for 7/31/14:

Clark Hunt

Owner of the Kansas City Chiefs (along with family)
Chairman and CEO for the Chiefs

It was a shot in the dark for this one. This is the first return of what I would call "current Chiefs". Mr. Hunt has done an pretty good job in my opinion taking over for his father, the late great Lamar Hunt. His first hire as GM after Peterson was viewed a slam dunk initially getting Scott Pioli in from New England. Sadly though, Pioli and the "Patriot Way" didnt work in KC. He was gonna live and die by Matt Cassel. The next GM/HC hire is looking to fit like a glove. Love me some Dorse and Big Red. Thank you Mr. Hunt! Go Chiefs!

My second TTM for 7/31/14 is another great return with KC ties....

Coach Bill Cowher

As a player played for the Eagles/Browns as a LB.
Spent first 4 seasons as an assitant with the Browns (Special Teams/Secondary)
Kansas City Chiefs Defense Coordinator under Marty Schottenhiemer 1989-'91
Steelers Head Coach from 1992-'05
Super Bowl XL champ
2x AFC champ
AP Coach of the Year 1992
2x Sporting News Coach of the Year (1992, 2004)

Awesome return! I sent 2 photos to Coach Cowher. One of him in KC attire when he was the DC, and the one you see here. He signed the Steeler one and returned the KC one unsigned. Still a big win! Thank you Coach Cowher!!

Another failure today 8/1/14. I got an RTS from Marv Levy. I hope this isnt kicking off a trend.

I hope not either, but it does happen. Congrats on your two successes yesterday, especially Bill Cowher.

I haven't had a return since 7/31. Been on the go with family vacation and haven't had time to put anything new in the mail. I figured I had plenty out anyways. Made it to Chiefs training camp again today!

My son wanted to add to his Jamaal Charles jersey. I cant believe how much the Jamaal auto has faded. Anyways, gonna officially retire it and made a little training camp display for him. Additions to his jersey: Dustin Colquitt, Ryan Succop, Cairo Santos, Aaron Murray, and Alex Smith.

As you see Alex signed his jersey. I was lucky enough to get helmet #45 for my Chiefs Wall of Fame...Alex Smith! It was ridiculous when Alex signed. We were right up on the fence line, people trying to push through, calling out his name and all sorts of stuff being shoved past me trying to get signed. I almost pulled out my last mini helmet to have Aaron Murray sign. I decided to wait it out, was hoping to that Poe, DJ, Houston, or Berry might swing by. Just missed out on getting Kelce, too.

Finally the drought was broken yesterday, 8/14/14. Another photo for the KC Hall of Honor:

Chuck Hurston

Member of KC Chiefs from '65-'70
Drafted by the Bills in AFL draft, and Packers in NFL draft in 1965.
Signed with KC after being waived by the Bills.
2x AFL champ '66, '69
Member of Super Bowl IV championship team

Mr. Hurston signed my photo in blue ball point pen. He also answered my questionnaire. The signature is a little hard to see. I should have send a blue sharpie with all these black/white photos but that would end up being pricey. Thank you Mr. Hurston!!

Another return with KC and HOF ties for 8/15/14. Pretty pumped, hope its legit..thoughts?

Joe Montana

8x Pro Bowler
3x 1st team All-Pro
2x 2nd team All-Pro
4x Super Bowl Champ
3x Super Bowl MVP
'89 NFL MVP
'90 NFL MVP
'89 Offensive Player of the Year
'80's All-Decade Team
75th Anniversary All-Time Team
Inducted to ProFootball HOF in 2000

I had sent this photo and a LOR to sign a mini helmet. The photo was returned signed, my LOR was not. I had been seeing there had been returns from Mr. Montana. When i seen it was from San Francisco I knew it was this. Anyone have thoughts on if this is legit or a ghost signer? Thank you Mr. Montana!!

I have one TTM return for yesterday, 8/18/14. This one is another former Husker and KC Chief!:

Mike Brown

Safety
Chicago Bear from 2000-'08
Kansas City Chief '09
1x All-Pro (2001)
1x ProBowler (2005)

Awesome to get this back. This guy was awesome with the Bears, sadly when he joined the Chiefs it was at the tail end of his career. Would have love him in KC from the start. I had some assistance getting a good address from a fellow sportscollectors member, Thank You. Thank you Mr. Brown!!

Slow going here. I havent put anything new out in the mail for some time now. I did get this in the mail on 8/23/14. Another photo for the KC hall:

Brandon Carr

CB

Kansas City Chiefs 2008 - 2011
Dallas Cowboys 2012 - present

I didnt expect to get this one back. It is awesome action picture. I sent this C/O the Cowboys. The only item I have received back that I mailed C/O to the Chiefs was Clark Hunt's photo. Wish KC could have hung on to Carr, but he played really well and KC just couldnt afford it. Best of luck this year in Dallas and thank you Mr.Carr!!

Been forever it seems since my last post. Still nothing new that I have put in the mail. With football season upon us, my attention has shifted to that. I got one response in the mail on 9/11/14. It is a great addition to my Chiefs Hall of Honor:

John Dorsey

GM of the Kansas City Chiefs
Played LB for the GB packers from 1984-89
Spent his career after his playing days as a scout for the Packers (1 season with Seattle), and eventually moved up the ranks to be the Director of football operations for the Packers. Following the hiring of Andy Reid by Clark Hunt in KC, Mr. Dorsey was selected as the final piece of the front office.

I am excited to see this one back. I believe I am the first documented success for Mr. Dorsey. I really think under Dorsey/Reid KC will have a perennial playoff contender. Horrible start this year with losing RG Jeff Allen, DE Mike Devito, and Pro Bowler Derrick Johnson who was just 14 tackles away from setting the Chiefs all time tackle record! Thank you Mr. Dorsey!

Maybe I am getting some mojo back. I got another return for 9/12/14. This time it is from an All-Time Great HOFer. Not sure if legit or not, but I hope:

Lawrence Taylor

10x All-Pro
10x Pro Bowler
2x Super Bowl Champ (XXI,XXV)
3x Defensive Player of the Year
1986 Sack Leader
1981 Defensive Rookie of the Year
75th Anniversary All-Time Team
1980's All-Decade Team
Pro Football Hall of Fame Inductee in 1999

Really great to get this back. Seriously a GOAT. Hope it is legit. Thank you LT!

Been kind of lazy. I got this TTM response last week 9/18/14. It is yet another piece of my KC Hall of Honor:

Walt Corey

Linebacker
Dallas Texan/KC Chief 1960-1966
Buffalo Bills assistant 1987-1994
Buffalo Bills Def Coordinator 1987-1994 including 4 straight AFC Championships seasons 1990-1993
New Orleans Saint DL coach 1991-1999 (Under Mike Ditka)
Member of 1962 AFL championship team
Member of 1966 AFC championship team
Played in Super Bowl I

Another great piece to add to my KC Hall of Honor. I didnt realize he went on to have a successful assistant coaching career as well. He also included a preprint 4x6 post card which I didnt photograph. Did not return the questionnaire. Thank you Mr. Corey!!

I got this great return on 9/23/14. Got to love his personality!:

Rich Eisen

ESPN 1996-2003
NFL Network 2003 - present

He is the face of the NFL Network broadcasting booth. In 2005, he was challenged by Terrell Davis to run the 40 yard dash. He has done so every year since. His first season he ran it in 6.77. Last year was his fastest time yet at 5.98. Love this dude. Thank you Mr. Eisen!!

Finally getting caught up. I got this great return today 9/26/14. It is a KC/Husker great and a future Hall of Famer:

Will Shields

Guard

Kansas City Chiefs 1993 - 2006
12x Pro Bowler
7x All-Pro
Walter Payton Man of the Year (2003)
Ed Block Courage Award (2005)
NFL 2000's All-Decade Team

Mr. Shields also answered half of the questions I had for him on my questionnaire. His son is a huge piece of the Husker Basketball success. Mr. Shields should be the next Kansas City Chief to be inducted into the HOF. Make it so voters! Thank you Mr. Shields!!
