One in a Million.....???

New member here with an odd occurance to share:

In April, I bought a lot on Ebay containing a 2014 Topps Series 1 Gold Parallel Seth Smith numbered 0959/2014 out of Zephyrhills, Florida. Last week I was working near a Walmart in Lansing, Michigan and bought a couple packages of cards at lunch. Inside one was another Gold Parallel Seth Smith---this one numbered 0958/2014. Using Topps odds printed on the package I came up with this:
Odds of finding ANY Gold Parallel: 1 in 4
Odds of finding any particular card in Gold Parallel: 1 in 1,320
Odds of finding a second, sequential particular Gold Parallel: 1 in 1,328,580

Not quite lottery-winning odds, but......

same thing happened to me with 2012 Limited football got some Bill's rookie in a Group Break online numbered like 157/250 then proceded to buy a box at the LCS the next week and got the same card numbered 158/250. Pretty crazy odds.
