before a trip to Pittsburgh for the O's game on Tuesday. A couple of things...
1. Is anyone privy to the better values for boxes/wax inside their inventory currently? (No, I'm not talking the product that you need a superfractor to complete your rainbow). I have my own ideas. My buddy isn't going to be happy with opening a case of Five Star in two minutes for the four hour drive from Baltimore.
2. If you purchase online and pickup locally, is sales tax added?

I thought they were online exclusive. Didn't know you could go there to pick something up. That is pretty cool!

The one in Sterling that's next to Dulles. Is that the Fantastic Store?

Gotcha, saw that now after your last post. I assume that their inventory is more limited than their warehouse?

remember breaking wax and driving is worst than drinking and driving.

I was told that if you call at least one day in advance, they can get your case over to the store for pickup. I would assume you pay for it on the web site so you wouldn't pay the sales tax(as long as you aren't from VA) but that is a guess.

Agreed...not going to be driving. My buddy and I in the backseat with a case of cards, another buddy and his brother in the front for a boring four hour drive.

Thanks for the info. I suppose that I could have just called. Anyone have any advice for what to buy?

They're live right now, they'd probably answer anything for you or move stuff to the store if you ask:

From what I saw when I went there last month, they pretty much have all the products you see on the website, just in small quantities so they could be sold out at the Fantastic Store versus online on BO. Prices are the same though. They also sell a limited amount of singles there too. I think they have more than just what you see in the glass display case, you just need to ask and they have them in boxes.

Enjoy the game and the cards but hoping the Pirates get some payback for the games in Baltimore. Beer Market on Federal Street is pretty awesome if you enjoy an adult beverage.

OP, I'm the store manager at The Fantastic Store.
If you are coming in tomorrow and want something to be picked up at the store, just send me a PM and I'll have it waiting for you. We don't carry many sealed cases in shop but do have boxes of pretty much every product from the past two years that are still in stock on our website.
For store pickups, you will still have to pay sales tax if you pay for the item in store. VA sales tax is 6% so if you can pay for the item(s) through our website, I would recommend it. If you need instructions how to do this, just send me a PM. (If your mailing address is in VA, you will have to pay sales tax regardless)
As far as singles go, we have TONS in store. Unfortunately, our display cases can only hold so much so I recommend taking a look through our Ebay store on the ride. Everything we have listed is available at the store.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
See you tomorrow!
