Just wanted to know what some of you think about this matter. I recently purchased (11) 2014 Bowman Jumbo loose packs off eBay. Out of those (11) jumbo packs I only hit (1) base auto of Jesse Winker. My question is do you think the packs were searched? The seller has 100% feedback and sells a lot of hobby boxes and loose packs. Thanks for any help or opinions on this.

Not necessarily searched, but definitely the packs left over in boxes after the three packs with autos were opened.
You should have done much better than one base auto if the odds weren't stacked against you. Stick to sealed boxes.

How much did you spend on those?
Never buy packs off ebay.

That's what I was thinking.

Are they all in 1 lot or you bought them separate? If they are in 1 lot, they could be leftovers. If you bought them 1 or 2 at a time, it may be just luck.
I would stick with boxes.

I bought (4) with no autos and then (7) with only one base auto in them.

Even sealed boxes can be relatively dead - after case hits are pulled some guys sell off the unopened boxes. Less of a risk than packs, but potential for scamming is there.

the seller could just opened a box of jumbo, opened the packs till he hit a refractor/color ref autos, then sell the rest of the box ......
but i don't get why you bought almost a full box worth, were they significantly cheaper ?

Last week I purchased (1) jumbo box and (4) loose jumbo packs off the seller. That's all I could buy at the moment. Then I purchased (7) more jumbo loose packs this week. The seller has over 13000 feedback and is now offering me a jumbo box for $140 delivered so there won't be any hard feelings.

The autographs are located in the same location throughout the case.
the lesson is, don't ever buy single packs off ebay.
