Bowman Inception Baseball

Anyone surprised the case prices haven't really jumped yet?
I expected the possibility of live Kris Bryant autos to drive the price a little bit especially after how his Bowman autos have been selling.
I know Inception isn't Chrome but 40 autos for $640 is a fun gamble.

No Tanaka cards of any kind, Bryant = redemption, Abreu on the DL. Not a huge surprise it isn't jumping,although it still could the week before release when demand starts to pick up.

2013 was also stagnant pre-release right up until Puig autos were announced

I'm just not a fan of Inception cards, so I'm not too surprised but there is quite a large group of collectors who like the card layouts.

cases already went up overnight. HA

this happened last year. you could preorder for close to 600 for the longest time, if not lower, then they went up, then down, and now they are close to 1k. I was all over it last year, but the breaks were hard and the checklist wasn't released for a long time, plus it was pushed back time and time again. I also don't think it helped that topps left out that there were "base" auto's which diluted it last year. The names in there are surely keeping the pricing high, plus a much lower print run.

I have a couple of spots in Taj's break and that might be about all I do this year of it. I'd have to see how many guys are repeats or have had cards going back a few years.

I'll be ripping mine and will see how it goes. Add Mookie Betts and a few other guys and it will be decent.

The lack of Tanaka autos really stinks Its a nice checklist without him. It would have been loaded with him.

I was under the impression "time" had nothing to do with it. I thought he just doesn't sign. So the fact he is not in this is irrelevant if that is the case.

He was referring to last years case price, not this year. At least that is how I read it.
