Works great on non auto cards, the auto's have a deeper back. I'm planning on a few modifications anyway for thick patch cards.

Seems very time consuming but I'd consider buying a few if I don't wanna do the work and copy your design :)

Thanks for all the feedback. I did consider a liner, but wood is soft and the cards are snug. This box is the prototype so once I figure the best way to handle patch and auto cards and make a jig should be easy to pop out a few. This is birch plywood with edge banding. I love the look and feel of Walnut so that will be the wood for the next box. If you guys have any ideas at all please post them.
