I think they're just watering down the product even more. There's already like 10 cards to make a rainbow. I guess it's nice for the player collectors, but I don't think it'll do nearly as well as 'regular' chrome.

Will this hurt values of the Flagship Chrome FB?

I wonder if this means that Cole Beasley will finally get a card.... ;)

This would be interesting if they used different photos for the Minis than say Base Topps or Chrome, but I doubt it. If they don't change anything but size, it just seems like another reason to crank the presses...

Why, Topps ... why ....
Will this hurt values of the Flagship Chrome FB?
Since it comes out a full month after regular Chrome FB, I would think not.

I think this will be a short run product, and I will always support more on card Chrome autos. The more the merrier. Chrome is the best product around in a lot of ways.

As a huge Topps Chrome fan, it's kind of cool, but it just sucks that there is that many more to chase, although I'm only going to be interested in Vikings, but still..
So the box will be mini too? Since this is not a box set and the config is the same as regular chrome.
STOP IT! TOPPS!

Maybe it will be a Turkey Red like release

The checklist looks very similar, just a little less in the print runs, to that of the regular Chrome. I remember they released Topps Mini in 2013 and I didn't hear much about it so maybe they're hoping making them Chrome will entice buyers.
The base set will include 220 packs (110 veterans and 110 rookies). The Rookie Cards will be limited to 25 image variations with the veterans limited to 30 image variations. The base set parallels include Refractors (three per hobby box), STS-Bordered Refractor (numbered to 99), BCA-Bordered Refractor (numbered to 25), Pulsar Refractor (one per box), Black-Bordered Refractor (numbered to 15), Gold-Bordered Refractor (numbered to 10), Red-Bordered Refractor (numbered to 5), SuperFractor (1-of-1) and Printing Plates.
The Rookie Autographs will have on-card and sticker autographs. They will feature eight parallels: Refractors (numbered to 150), STS Refractor (numbered to 99), BCA Refractor (numbered to 75), Black Refractor (numbered to 25), Pulsar Refractor (numbered to 15), Gold Refractor (numbered to 10), Red Refractor (numbered to 5) and SuperFractor (1-of-1).
There will also be Rookie Autograph Image Variations.
The inserts will feature Fantasy Focus and 1985 Topps Football designs. The 1985 Topps designs will fall at a rate of just one per box, but will come in Refractor, Pulsar, Superfractor and Autograph versions.
Topps is included Chrome Rookie Die-Cuts (one per box), 1,000-Yard Club (one per case), and 4,000-Yard Club (one per case). Each will have Blue Wave, Red and Superfractor parallels with Autographed versions.

So each player will have more autos than refractors by about 300 per player?
Let's call this what it is, a money grab
I'd rather just see them put the mini's into regular chrome as bonus cards, maybe each box of Chrome is normal and then you get 4 packs of mini too

Terrible, just terrible.
Topps is dumb.
Rather have spa and ultimate without all the stupid parallels.

I don't know how I feel about this. I am a Chrome addict, but the thought of having another variation of it doesn't sit right with me.

Minis in baseball sell like crap and these will too. Look at the bowman chrome mini sets how they dropped. Also the bowman baseball mini parallels sell like garbage. Nobody wants this stuff.

i don't think these will even get close to regular tops chrome this year. its a decent idea but maybe not in chrome. i like normal sized cards so ill stick with regular chrome but i may end up picking up a few mini autos of the two players i am going after this year just to have. i won't buy it to crack it though.not a big seller at all i will bet.

So is this how they plan to make up for the 2013 class probably not making them much money?
Panini rolls out their "rewards" and Topps introduces money grab sets?
What's next? An entire product sold as singles?

They got spoiled by the 2012 classes of FB and BKB and they're freaking out because their revenue isn't even close this year.
Or they're doing just fine and they know people will still buy it regardless.

Product will be limited.....refractor versions have considerably lower print runs than their regular chrome counterparts.....I see the product starting off slow and blowing up after it starts to dry up......

Could also be a way to lower production on Regular Chrome but add another product at a low cost to end up with a higher total margin on the two releases than just adding minis to Regular chrome and jacking the production up.

Every year they seem to add something new to chrome, whether it be a new parallel, or a new insert, or a new retro card, something.
Do you really think they're going to lower production on their most popular and maybe their most profitable product?

Why on earth would ANYONE buy a case of minis for the same price as the regular version...mini cards have never sold well, ever. This is a very strange move on the part of Topps.

I hate that they include so many mini cards in the regular product, much less a product full of minis.
Chrome is by far my favorite product and I have no interest in this.
Glad we finally have a 547th product though. Was getting really tough to find variety.

I think we can assume it's going to be less, because the non-auto parallels have a lower print run than the regular-sized ones. And I doubt they'll be releasing blasters of minis.

no, it really isn't nice for player collectors. just more junk to find and buy.

Do you think that this release will hurt the prices of Regular Topps Chrome football?

I'd much rather have a mini version of Topps Chrome than pretty much any of their other products (Sterling, Prime, Magic, Triple Threads, Strata, etc.). I believe there will be a lot more value in Mini Chrome (assuming on-card autos) than any of the products I listed here that have rookie event-worn cards as hits and all sticker autos.
I'm not sure if people are worried that the mini version will de-value or "water-down" the regular version, but I feel like I speak for a lot of people when I say that I'll take Topps Chrome-anything over pretty much any other product, Panini or Topps, in terms of value, quality, and price.

We had minis last year, it was just normal Topps, looks like they just changed it to chrome, meaning this is not really a new addition, as some of you are acting.
