Anyone going to break Superbox?

So.....Superbox is bringing its act to hockey.

4 boxes in a case at 2949.95, boxes at 774.95 so each pack (1 card) costs just over $129.

Blurry sell sheet shows a couple auto Gretzky RCs, but mainly a bunch of Panini Prime hits.......so you know what my answer is.

At $129, I can be buying Howe and Orr autos all day.

Just curious on what the rest of the hockey guys think.

I think you said enough. It will probably loaded with Yakapov, Hall, and other rookie stuff that has fallen in value over the last year or so.

Yeah I think this is going to be a big fail overall. I see nothing in here that would want to make me spend money on it. Like you said, I will take my money I would spend on it and go buy specifically the cards I want and still have money left over.

i'm a sucker for buyback products, so i tried a box. i'd say all of your instincts are right. my advice... either avoid it completely or proceed with low expectations.

if their sell sheet is accurate there are a few solid hits in the product, but those hits were made possible by lots and lots of junk.

i won't complain about a Gretzky auto but it sucks when the big hit won't even pay for a pack.

clearly they stocked up on dominion and prime... so lots of that to be found.

like anything it's a gamble. someone out there will pull the big hits and love it... most will get stuff like this.
