I made a thread on who would step back so here is a thread to talk about who will step up in 2014.
I will start by saying the Vikings. I really like Bridgewater and he will have great weapons around him.

Well I don't think the team formerly known as the Redskins can get much worse... plus they got a nice add in DeSean Jackson...
Aaron Rodgers is back... Green Bay easily gets to 11 wins with him.
No way ATL has another bad year...
NFC West should be uber competitive this year... I would hate to be in that division.

I think Buffalo and Cleveland step it up this season.

Gotta go with my Lions, way too much talent to keep having a losing record. Although their division is very difficult. Also have to say Atlanta, with Julio back I can't see them being as bad as last year

Buffalo, Cleveland, Packers win SB
Giants--solid FA additions + new OC (McAdoo from GB) = bounce back season in a mediocre NFC east

Julio missed 3 his rookie year and 11 last year, not to mention all of the plays he missed when he comes out during the game. Love his talent but he seems to get nicked up a lot.
Buffalo will surprise a lot of people and be a borderline playoff team this year like a few people are saying. If Manuel can stay on his feet he will have a great year.

Lions and Cleveland. I see both of the former bottom feeders having pretty solid years. Lions 10-6, Cleveland 9-7.

The Bucs, Washington's team, Texans, and Packers.

Bucs with the new coaching and acquisition of a few more key pieces. Wish they can get a consistent QB under the age of 34 though (do not think Josh Mccown is the answer, but hey I have been wrong before).

Colts have the easiest schedule on paper. If offensive starters stay healthy, we could see a deep playoff run, maybe a Super Bowl appearance. Still a lot of defensive concerns.
I'd like to see the Bills come up. Lots of youth on offense that could do some damage this year.

Bears! Hopefully Jay Cutler can actually be healthy. They have one of the best WR tandems with Alshon Jeffery and Brandon Marshall. Da Bears tightened up their D, and Ka'deem Carey will be a nice addition playing behind another pretty good RB in Matt Forte.

I'm a well documented Steelers fan, but every component of the game that is historically year to year based mostly on luck did not go in our favor last season, and the team should be greatly improved aside from that.
The Bucs are on their way to competing for rings if this keeps up. I'm not sure that they make the playoffs this year, but they are definitely trending upwards.
Their offense has to step up, but the Rams front 7 is going to absolutely shut down some teams.
If Jake Locker can stay healthy, I could see the Titans winning the division.

Pretty spot on post here, IMO. Funny how quickly people forget how well Jake Locker was playing before getting hurt (again).

Most improved teams in 2014: Jaguars, Cleveland, Washington and Tampa. All of those teams could double their win totals over last year.
Biggest shocks this year: St Louis, San Diego. St Louis will get a wild card spot this year, after Arizona knocks SF out of the playoffs in week 17. San Diego will follow suit as well, barely squeaking in, but with a much better team.

I hope to see some improvement for the Giants after that 0-6 start last season.
I also think that the Texans may have a shot at the playoffs
