ummm word on the kentucky board is that he didn't want to further injure his foot so he is skipping all workouts until the draft

this kid is an example of
"good ncaa players and nba players"
i wouldn't even take him with the 30th pick... he is going to be a bust. couldn't believe so many were hyped up on him being the next big thing in the NBA lol

How do you know he's going to be a bust? I mean who knows how he is going to play in the NBA. I will say this though, if he is healthy he will be a solid contributor in the NBA. When he was in college he demanded a double and triple team on every possession and still managed to average 15ppg and 10rpg. That's not too shabby. He won't have to worry about double and triple teams in the league.

Couldn't have gone to Boston just to interview? Do do something? Just blows it off instead?
Kentucky fans can spin it any way they want. It's still a bad look.

I agree with you and I am a Kentucky fan. Doesn't seem very smart of him to blow off a major basketball franchise.

I suppose yes it "looks bad", but it's all posturing. McDermott didn't respond to Lakers requests for a workout, Smart turned down Utah 4 times and by now we all know how Embiid's agent has handled his medical records.
I get the impression that Randle and the Lakers have something in place, so why give Boston the added incentive to select him.

Which is all true. Guys play these games all the time.
I guess I wouldn't be tweeting about going to GQ if it was known I had "turned down" or "skipped" a workout from a team drafting in the Top 6 in 2 days.
Not a big deal in reality.
