What's going on ? Buyers Market.

Is it me or are cards from this years stuff selling low? I mean I am on eBay bidding on cards like AJ McCarron RC Bowman Chrome Autos for $4, Mettenberger Gold Auto /75 for $9, Teddy Bridgewater Auto Chrome for $22, etc. Did the 2013 Rookie class scare people in to avoiding this class? I see a lot of guys I want to buy at these prices. Just crazy!

I was wondering the same thing. These prices are as low or lower than Press Pass and Leaf at release.

I have no interest in Bowman. Nor do I in Leaf but I will buy Leaf products before Bowman and Press Pass before either.

People's expectations are too darn high. I said this in the chrome thread and people acted like I was crazy. Wait till more autos of these guys are pumped into the market.

The cards look nice but it's a quintessential "tweener" product... Airbrushed college uniforms and a NFL team logo....wtf?

If i'm gonna have a picture of Manziel in his A&M uni i'd rather just have the full uniform with logos and college team name on the card instead of this hybrid NFL/college crap.

Once all the other products hit the market with the players in their actual NFL uniforms it makes this Bowman product even less desirable in my opinion. Again, nice looking classic Bowman design but the photos kill me.... just wait for Topps Chrome.

By time the season starts and Rookies get hot there will be tons of other more desirable products.

I concur...2012 was such a abnormality, where you had three starting QBs coming out of Preseason (includes Wilson as he had won his job at that point) plus Tannehill and Weeden. Even Johnny Football is considered a back up right now.

Hope this class pans out, but so far it doesn't look like people are busting like crazy

Aside from the Bowman mini autos, I've actually managed to convince myself that I have no interest in these early products. Go me! Saving up for Chrome !

Bowman is terrible. Not in an NFL uni and not in a college uni. They should just put the rookies in the uniforms from the old Nintendo Tecmo Bowl game at least

I've been pretty let down by the products to this point. I think I will stick with later product from this point on (contenders, finest, certified, sterling, topps chrome, ect).

This years class is going to leave last years class in the dust. But to expect something similar to 2012 would be pushing it. There are several interesting qb prospects in this class, but I don't know if they are in the same league as Luck, RG3, Wilson, Foles, Tannehill. If Manziel plays well he will pull in serious cash. If 2 other qbs can step up this will be an excellent class. Bridgewater, Carr, Bortles, Savage, McCarron, Mettenberger, Murray, ect. The receiver class is going to be very good.

Knowing you, I would think you'd be thrilled to get all these guys for cheap... Like you said its a buyers market. Take advantage of it :)! I know I am.

I was looking for an orange auto of a particular player, I got two quotes from sellers here on BO one for $150 and the other for $175. All those listed on eBay BIN were between $100-$175. I just got one on auction for $22. I bid much higher and was pleasantly surprised. Now let's hope the rest of the rainbow comes inexpensively.

I actually like Leaf (Valiant & Metal)...let me tell you why...although they are airbrushed and are lacking the license for whatever reason..guess what..when my favorite player gets traded, I am not stuck with 2 team variations.

Trent Richardson is a perfect example...his first Browns cards were hot...the day he got traded the plummeted like the depression. But at least with his leaf cards...I can see him in a premature example of a Alabama uni...same with SPA & SPX

When Trent got traded his cards actually saw quite a bump. He went from the crappy Browns to a potential long term contender. Then he sucked and we all know what happened to his cards then...wish I sold when he was traded:(

yes some cards are going for some nice change, but some mid level rookie jersey autos are going for cheap
