I pulled a 2014 bowman SSP red ink auto 5/5 Mini yesterday. Its up for auction and doing pretty well IMHO. Its up to $55 atm any thoughts on the player or the final price? Its up for a 7 day but was curious to see what Steelers fans thought of their #1 pick. I saw his highlight from college hits and the dude is FAST!

Dude is a beast and is sickly fast..... but.... He pulls hamstring left and right. He ran the 40 at his Pro day and pulled up at the end of it. Dallas wanted him at 16, but Steelers pulled the trigger at 15. So yeah, their expecting him to start and be a game changing linebacker. So yeah I could see your card doing real well. Helps its nice looking, that Red really pops

From what I've seen, Shazier can best be described as a heat-seeking missile. Guy is an absolutely freakish athlete (4.3 40 time, 40+inch vertical etc.) who should be perfect in the Steelers defense. That being said, last year Jarvis Jones was completely lost, and it is very hard to expect much from a first year player in our defense.
His NFL comparison that keeps coming up is Lavonte David. If he is able to match 80% of David's production, I would be ecstatic.

Not just Pittsburgh. I've seen quite a few sports writers/reporters say the very same thing. Sorry to burst your Seattle bubble.......again. :D

If that is his ceiling I don't see his value in the hobby being very high. If he produces close to what David is able to, I could see majority of his autos falling in the $15 range, as he is a steeler, but not much more than that. I have picked up a fair share of David autos recently all under $8 with shipping. One of the best defensive players in the league, yet sells for penny's on the dollar to a below-average QB.

Good player but has to be HOF level of play to have much impact on the value of his cards.
