opinion on value please. Barry Sanders 1/1

I made a trade with a friend for a Barry Sanders Certified mirror black 1/1 laundry tag patch. I traded roughly $300 in sale value and since its a 1/1, was just wondering if it was a fair price.

Ya, if it was auto'd or older insert it would be a whole different ball game, but even collecting Barry I wouldnt come close to that $300.

Was looking online and found the exact same card you posted with a different tag patch amd its a 1/1... maybe that one went cheaper because there are different 1/1s just like it?

Possible, but there have been some 1/1 autos that have gone for about the price of the patch. I will say I paid $600 for the Barry Sanders 1/1 Triple GU/Auto I have in my PC from 06 NT HOF Greatness, but also came with a triple GU piece from that set /4, which I've seen sell up around $100. Might have overpaid a little, but that set has always sold well, plus the fact that I needed it to complete my set, made it worth it to me.

Honestly with 1/1s, it's hard to put a true value on it.

To answer your question - yes, you overpaid. BUT - if you gave up a bunch of cards to get one NICE card, then who cares - you made out.

I traded: jeff skinner ud ice rookie bgs 9.5, Bart Starr/lamonica dual auto from nt /10, Eddie lacy finest auto patch 2 color /50, and a Dwight Howard immaculate auto patch.

I received: Barry Sanders 1/1 laundry tag patch, Barry Sanders quantum leaf auto, and a Chris Johnson bowman chrome blue refractor Rc auto.

Think you gave up too much value on that 1/1 with no ink.

with no auto i would say definitely gave too much up for it. hopefully not stuff that meant a lot to you. but that being said the barry is still pretty cool.

Thanks everyone for the posts. I think I might trade it out to him for something else. It's a nice card, but I try and get stuff to where if I want to get my money back out of an item, I can.

Don't worry about it. It's a ridiculous card from an awesome set (Immortals.) I know several Barry Sanders collectors who would make the same trade 100% of the time if it was offered to them.

If you're happy with the card, enjoy it. Many Barry collectors would be jealous as crap.
