I'm sorry. I see you fell into my pun. I read your post completely wrong.....
Back doesn't count as much as the front unless their are stains on the back.
Which shouldn't be a problem on newer cards. A card can be 60/40 on the back & still be gem.

I would sell it. Johnny football is selling crazy well right now and with bowman being in it's hottest phase since it just came out, I would sell it.
Although there's always the possibility that I'm missing your question and you're not planning on selling it, you're just wondering if you should grade it. In that case, I would grade it.:)!

a nine would actually hurt you on that card. 9.5-10 or raw is the way to go.

They are selling for $500 raw I would slab it and shoot for $6-$650 with a 9.5

I would think you would want more of a difference between raw and a 9.5 to go through the process of sending it in and then waiting for it to get back
Sell raw now before all the other products start coming out

Sell it raw for $500. I sold mine too early at $400, but by the time you grade it and pay for insurance and turnaround time, you would have spent close to $100 already. Then if it grades a 9 you are back at square one. If it grades a 9.5, was it really worth all the trouble and extra $100 to make an extra $100 or less after fees?
SELL! SELL! SELL! Do it! Do it naughhhhhhhh!

Any time you get any card, even base, of the current years latest big name draft pick, grade it and sell it as soon as possible. I turned a $4 Luck base into a $30 ebay sale a few years back after it graded 9.5.

I would say throw it in a fire pull it out really quick send it to bgs, don't open the package when you get it in the mail, wait 3-4 years toss it back in the fire pull it out quick then open it.
