Question: How likely will this be Strasburg? And if it is, how likely will it be the auto? Am I better selling this now on hype, or should I sit?

I apologize for my ignorance, I do one or two boxes of baseball a year, so any help is appreciated. I was going to do bowman but it's too #@#@#@#@ing expensive!!!!

I think #4 was already announced.

If they're doing it in order of the call-ups (highly unlikely) Stras can be #5 or #6, as he's scheduled to start for the nats on the 8th of June.

But Castro's was the first week of May so it's due any minute. I highly doubt it's Strasburg considering he won't even be called up for another week or so at the earliest. Mike Leake would seem to be the obvious choice, Austin Jackson is another possibility.

I thought #3 should have been Smoak since he got the call before Castro. I don't think they'll go with Leake or Jackson (wouldn't they use them by now). I'm guessing #4 will be whoever gets the call first (SS, Stanton, or Posey).

More then likely 4 will not be posey due to the fact Posey is in the set. They usually take players that arent in the set.

If they announce someone this week before Strasburg pitches on the 8th, it should be someone like Smoak or Leake. They can pump the product for another few weeks before saying who #5 is.
My opinion is that the #1 Red Hot Rookie is gonna be Strasburg.

on beckett, Redemption card numbers 4-9 are $25 a piece regular while #10 is $60 regular so I think Strasburg is #10

thats only because 10 has always been an auto, strasburg will probebly be five or autod, and maybe 10 wil be all autos of him.
