There are a myriad of threads about these cards, but suffice to say yes someone could attempt to forge his signature (though they would still have to stamp a 1/1 on the back) and try to pass it off as the real pack pulled card.
That being said, this seller is not doing that (though I disagree with him calling it a test proof and suggesting that it could be a 1/1).

Got to love Topps. Ruining the hobby all by themselves. What genius thinks releasing these is a remotely good idea?
Shame on Topps.
Shame on the sellers.
Shame on the buyers too.

seller is a member here. at least it isn't graded as a real super like some of the others. everyone plays a part with these things.

Those would be sick to get them for an ip collection and keep them as a PC item but anything other than that, idk.

Disagree. Topps is dumb in the first place for releasing these, but as far as shaming the buyers and sellers? I don't think so. No issue here as long as the seller advertises it the right way.
Also, a super of one of my PC guys will always be out of reach, but this could be an affordable PC purchase to add to the collection to fill a void.

But the existence of these cards COMPLETELY spits in the face of the entire idea of 1/1's. We all know that 1/1 cards have gotten a bit out of control, but these are blatant copies of what are supposed to be TRULY UNIQUE cards.
Never mind the potential fraud that is so easy to do with these, it's just plain stupid that they even exist in the first place. How much is Topps making when selling these sheets at auction? Are they really so hard up for cash that they think distributing cards that completely contradict what their official sell sheets tell us is a good idea?
And while sure it's nice of the seller to advertise these "correctly", it's still someone selling a fake Rolex and trying to get real Rolex prices.
