Original Michael Jordan WINGS Poster Help?

I've always wanted this poster ever since I saw it as a kid. It's just so unique and one of a kind I would love to buy it and get it framed to put in my apartment.

Anyone that knows this poster knows it has also been replicated and faked so many times over.

Can anyone tell me how you know it's the original and how much the NON-Autographic kind costs these days?

There's 2 original versions, one with "nike" and one without....

The only ones you can buy now are the everyday copies of the originals....

There really is NO difference in what you can buy today to what was originally made, in fact most copies today are on the better matte cardboard stock anyway...

As for price, I can't say as I'm from Australia, I think I paid $180 for mine framed, it would have to way cheaper in the U.S I'd say...

I have had mine hanging in my bedroom, and for the last 10 years in my classroom since it first came out. I have no idea how to tell the difference nowadays. It used to be the Nike Logo, but It all can be copied, I guess.
Maybe look for the original plastic wrap and Sticker?

id say only way to get a true decent peice of it is to buy it auto'd from UD but you will paying a pretty penny, i can not tell the difference between original and copy anymore copying is just too good these days!

Count me in as another one of you who has it framed up - mine is in the living room of my apartment. Great taste!

You could get directly to Upper deck for a signed one, that surely will be real.
For just a poster, you could get it less than $20, then go to Michaels for a cool frame for it.

I had the original back in the day.....bought a reprint and honestly once it's framed it's really hard to tell a difference.

Does anyone have info on this? Picked one up a few years back but have 0 info on it. I was told it was an original and its numbered (hand written) on the bottom right corner. It's nonauto. I can't find any real information on it. Thanks.

6 year bump! umm I have one in the closet as well, I think an ex-gf bought it for me over 10 years ago and I never ended up getting it framed. I'll have to take it out and measure, there used to be a way to tell if it was authentic or not but would also appreciate more info

All you need to do is look how many of them are on Ebay. Compare to a more recent issue, "Master" for example.

I love that one. I have one framed, one in a roll, and the small poster promo that's embossed with a black border. Photos never seem to do that one justice.

My mistake. I thought that hologram thingy on the bottom right was an UDA sticker. Now you can't have my three.

The original poster doesn't have his signature on it. Some sort of after market collector's edition deal?
