Anyone know of good shows in AZ? I'm thinking of getting a table, haven't done that in years.

September 27 at the Phoenix Baptist Church on Central and Bethany Home Road:
Phoenixcardshows.com - Your source for up to the minute information on Free Agent Sports Marketing Baseball Card Shows (http://www.phoenixcardshows.com/)
September 27 at the St James Church, 19640 N. 35th Ave., Glendale
2014 Coin Shows & Events ® > Buy & Sell Coins For Sale! (http://www.festivals-and-shows.com/coin-shows.html)
Those are the only 2 I know about. It figures they'd be on the same day.
If you had to get a table for just one, I'd probably go with the Baptist Church show.
If you want to wave a pile of money and buy someone's entire table full of stuff cheap, I'd probably hit the Glendale show first.

Awesome, thanks. I think I'm going to get a table at the Phoenix Baptist show, the pricing is reasonable. Any tips on what sells well? I'm thinking local teams...

For shows, I'm a big fan of having a bunch of stuff that's all the same price. Like, a box or a table where everything is $1 or everything is $3 or everything is $5. You could also have grab bags which are also the same price for the whole bag.
Some dealers will set up several tables with items priced this way, and then have a glass tabletop case with better stuff which is individually priced.
There are people who will specialize in Suns / Diamondbacks / Cardinals / Coyotes / Mercury / ASU stuff, but I'm not sure it's worthwhile to do anything more than have a box of commons of those teams for some price like 25 cents each. Phoenix has lots of transplants from other parts of the country, so there's always demand for Chicago or New York related items. Especially Cubs and Yankees.
In general, people don't have a lot of time at shows, so you want to give them a reason to dig through your box and spend what the money they came to spend.
At this particular show, there are always a few autograph guests, but I'm not sure it's worth tailoring your product to the guest. They charge quite a bit for autographs, so someone who is seriously interested is probably already going to come to the show with an item for that person to sign.
