Hello newbie to cons and comics, just curious if Sunday is a bad day to go to the con? Is everything picked over? I can either go Saturday or Sunday, not likely both (it will be my first con) Saturday would seem like the best day but not sure, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I've never been to Chicago, but generally the earlier you get there the better chance you have to score exclusives in the best condition possible. Sundays may be good if you want to score some deals on graphic novels, toys and back issues if vendors are willing to sell for less just so they don't have to bring more stuff back with them. Sundays are typically less crowded than the other days too.

Saturday is the most crowded day in my experience. Most Cos Players come out on that day. Friday is best day for a collector looking for new stuff. Sunday is best day to get bulk deals or blowout prices on some keys sometimes.

Thanks looks like I may end up doing Saturday and Sunday so it will be interesting to get the contrast. I would like to go earlier just to see what exclusives they have but that is not really in the cards for this one.
