Have Giannis' prices reached well beyond his value?

I know with last years weak draft class, people are grasping at straws hoping that someone in the class will emerge as the dark horse. It appears that The Greek Freak has become that horse.

However, now his prices are getting out of hand. I am going to be very curious when NT release in a few weeks where the prices of his RPAs end at, and how those compare to previous rookies.

Base off his Silo RPA prices, I am guessing his first NT RPAs will break the $1k mark.

Anyone else have any thoughts?

Yeah, I was thinking about picking a few up, but I just cant justify it at current prices. I honestly think hes extremely overhyped and overrated.

I keep bidding on Silhouette autos, and they keep going for 80+ which is insane in my opinion. I got Oladipo for 20$ less.

Now I think Giannis is going to be a stud, but the prices are a little bit silly right now

I don't think we're anywhere near peak craziness on Giannis stuff. When NT/Immaculate/Flawless hit, people will be going nuts.

well the majority of experts say that if there was a re-draft he would be the number one pick. so if you look at it that way, his pricing is correct. he just has to make a real noticeable leap in year 2, which he could, he looked great in summer league. but he cant be having any games where he plays 10 minutes and gets virtually no stats. i would think milwaukee would play him & jabari a ton and kidd's faster paced system should be good for him. but a big part of his rookie pricing is the weakness of the rest of the class especially with noel out all year and bennett being hurt & doing nothing for most of the season.

I saw a Preferred Tag 1/1 booklet (it had Steven Adams on it) and I thought it might be a couple of hundred in value. Went for $600.

His stuff seems to be completely crazy in prices.
The people buying it surely have to be either:
a) Greek themselves and a big fan of his
b) "Investors" trying to get hold of his stuff to then list for even higher or
c) Insane.

I don't get the hype either. I have him on my fantasy team last year so that was over hype as well. (didn't do much as I remember) What has he really done?!?!
