OK, I am only a baseball guy so I need some help on this one. My brother-in-law pulled this card as a kid and just found it in his parents house. I see there are three versions of this card but cannot figure out for sure which version this is. He told me to find out as much as possible because he doesn't want it and will be selling it. Should I send this to BGS or just sell as raw? Any help is much appreciated, thanks!

refractor finish on the front, no refractor finish on the back, means you've got yourself a Stadium Club Triumvirate Luminescent parallel.
edit: the picture featuring the back of the card does not appear to have a refractor finish, but if the picture is off and there is indeed a refractor finish on the back, then it's an Illuminator parallel.

Thanks guys. Looks like theres quite a price difference for one vs the other!! I'll have to look it over closer after work. Is this a card that gains value if graded?

Yeah a BGS 9.5 would at the very least get you Full BV or more rather then ungraded not getting BV high...

Yes sir. I added a couple Legacy collection cards, some autographs, numbered cards from back in the day. Check out the poverty mail day thread, I added a really sweet Payton auto.
Can't wait to see your new additions, you've got one of the best Jordan collections. Dead serious.

Front in the front, so this means $$$. If there is refractor in the back, then $$$$.

Actually series 1 Illuminator is clear acetate. ( no refractor finish)
Series 2 Illuminator is refractor finish on front and back with clear acetate on top of card.
You do have the luminescence like everyone says though.
That's a $300 card

I was going to post this if you didn't Yes, Series 1 Triumvirate Illuminators are not a refractor at all, just a clear acetate wood finish. The only one with a refractor finish from Series 1 is the Luminescent, which is what you have.

Very helpful, thanks all! I'll see if I can get it to BGS and then hand my bro in law a nice check after selling!

Gorgeous card.
Not only are the variants confusing to identify, but imo Topps made a huge mistake by not making the Illuminators consistent between both series.
How do u know if your card is series 1 or 2
Series 2 is my personal favorite (these aren't mine)...
