As we're up for this month's renewal, I'm wondering if it's worth it to keep the membership at Dealernet. What are some experiences you all have had? We seem to be able to get better prices than our wholesalers a lot of times, but it's hit or miss.

Most card shops just have one distributor they work with.
That allows the Distributor to hook them up big time on occasion if they spend a lot with that distributor.
I know a friend of mine kept getting wrong shipments for a month & they increased his allocation for 5 of the most coveted products in the year.

Huh..........
I actually have asked the same question as the OP and would like to know if it is worth it as well.

It is just hearsay for me. I have a couple friends that own shops and listen in to a lot on what they say.
Some business models thrive on dealernet. Others don't. I think the traditional click & mortar card shop would probably run better with a distributor.
You really need a lot more volume to make dealernet work for you.

For $60 a month, you have to buy quite a lot to get involved. I started making up an account, but not worth it to me for $720 a year. I'll stick with my distributor.

Definitely not worth it. About to cancel my membership. I don't do enough on there to benefit from it.
Also, they setup some consumer version that allows you to put your own buy prices on there.
