Let's Make an Awesome Mix Vol. 2 Mix Tape Contest!

Like the rest of 'Merica, I've been listening to Awesome Mix Vol. 1 from Guardians of the Galaxy for the past couple of weeks. We already saw that an Awesome Mix Vol. 2 tape exists. Let's put together a list of potential songs!

From what I can gather, the songs are from the late 60s to 70s. So we'll need to find songs from that time...

Here's how the contest will work:

1) Find a song from that era that you think would fit the movie well
2) Post a link for that song (e.g. Youtube) if you can find one
3) Post a reason on why that song would work (captures the essence of RR, b/c it's just awesome that's why, etc)

RULES
1) Must have at least 50 posts to participate
2) Pick one song as your entry. Post all you want afterwards but only your first entry will count.
3) Submissions end by Sunday 8/17/14 3 PM PST. I'll random the list of entries Sunday night. 1st one on the randomized list wins!

What do you win? I don't know yet...probably a cool sketch or variant cover. Something worth over $10 though. :)!
