#1-I recently recieved my Figment #1 sketch cover book back from CGC graded a 9.8. This book has been selling for crazy money since it came out, just wondering what your thoughts are on the future of this book? Hold it or sell it?

#2- I also got my Amazing Spider Man #47 back with a 9.2 OW/W grade. I already have this book in a 9.0 with White grade. Are these two pretty much a wash as far as value goes or does the .2 bump make a difference with the differen whiteness.

Appreciate any advice

#1: SELL WHILE HOT...

#2: I would keep the 9.0 W over the 9.2 OW/W. The slight grade bump isn't worth the pages being non-white. I know others will chime in saying the 1 grade bump is worth it but I think it's a wash.

there's not a huge difference value wise based on the GPA between a 9.0 and a 9.2 so yeah, probably about a wash.

I say sell the 9.0, the 9.2 and the Figment and pick up an ASM #47 9.6 ;)

good idea but i would rather an ASM #15, thats one i really regret selling a few years back

Yes, Do a BIN for $299 OBO and see what kind of offers come in. Or just run it and see what it goes for, but I think BIN is a better option as there are people out there paying crazy money for that book and with no competition on the graded front, your BIN might get snagged at $299.. might even go higher on a run though..

thanks for the thoughts everyone, im torn on what to do because with my luck on stuff like this i will be screwed either way. if i sell they will make a movie and it will blow up even more. if i hold it will be worthless in a couple months. kinda like my luck with sportscards.

If you sell now...will you be making a profit? More than likely it's yes...especially if it is a hot modern.

It's a no-brain-er...if you can cover all your costs and make a few bucks then it's an easy decision!

Who cares if you can make more money later...there's a higher probability you will lose money as modern prices usually go down. I'm sure there's a ton of titles I could list that's just like this...Nowhere Men, Think Tank, etc...trust me I'm holding onto graded comics that I wish I sold but I NEVER sell, lol. I'm about to change that philosophy.

After thinking about this post (I know, I know), I think you should sell. Moderns are very volatile and if you sell, at least you make a profit. Then you can either put that money aside and wait to hear about any movie talk. Or, you could buy something that's awesome but a lot safer as an "investment" (like Batman :)).

Sell all 3 and grab a NM 98 in a CGC 9.8 before they get any highr:)
