I have a buddy who is looking to sell his collection of X-Men issues #11 through 100. I'm making an offer on #94 myself, but thought if anybody here is interested in an particular issues from this run, LMK and I'll see if I can get you photos/pricing for it. These are in varying degrees of F/F+, nothing VF or NM in here, but are higher end for books this old IMHO as you typically find them in G/VG. A few are in G/VG, but a majority are higher grade than that. If you're interested, just PM me.

There are A LOT of key issues in here, 1st Sentinels, 1st Banshee, 1st Juggernaut, etc.

This is pretty awesome. I'm sure by the end of the day, requests will be going off like firecrackers.

I have interest in and like to request X-Men #12, first juggernaut. I have money tied into other things so please let me know condition and pricing. Might have to sell some blood if it is in good condition and for a great price.

Please e-mail me: stevenlhodge@yahoo.com

I went and looked at them today. The #12 is in probably 6.5/7.0 condition, but has a name written in ink across the front and he's asking $500 for it. Then I looked at #14, in roughly G/G+ shape and he wants $150. I think he's asking a bit too much on these and didn't go any further with him as he wanted to sell individually at those prices and wasn't willing to budge. If I could have picked up the run at a decent price, I would have, but he's emotionally attached and didn't want to sell them in a lot. Sorry to get your hopes up guys, but it happens.

That's ok Indy! We all appreciate you for trying! That is why you are our fearless leader! Always looking out for us! :-)
But the guy is truly asking for waaayyy too much. I mean for $565 I can get an X-Men #12 cgc 6.5 signed by Stan Lee on e-bay right now. He should probably just hold on to them if he is that emotionally attached.

I agree. Happens all the time. As a buyer you have to figure out if the guy really wants to sell the books, or wants to hem and haw and piece them out at crazy prices.
