First this happened with international sales a couple months ago - could not print a shipping label on Paypal for an item sold on eBay. Now the same seems to be operative for domestic US?? I tried multiorder shipping on Paypal and screwed up royally and had to start from scratch on eBay with each item.

Have not heard this before. Hope it's not true. I usually ship through eBay, but have used Paypal when eBay shipping was down or running slow.

You may or may not know, but you can print multiple shipping labels on eBay. Here's a link to a tutorial.

Creating shipping labels and packing slips on eBay (http://pages.ebay.com/help/pay/printing-labels.html#multiple)

They both use the same system, they are just streamlining the connection between the two. I have always used Ebay shipping as it is just easier to follow.

Less ink?

I print greyscale, two labels per page. I've not noticed any differences in ink. I use recycled paper (print on the back) for my labels. And I bought 16 ounces of ink with a syringe for $6 off eBay and I refill my ink cartridge. That would have cost over $1000 in true HP cartridges.

As for the problem: I have faced it for probably two years and I have read dozens of posts about others with the same problem. I have yet to read a reason or even see eBay acknowledge the problem.

I receive one of two error messages. I posted them here once before. I used to see it maybe once per day, not around once per week. I've found I just need to wait an hour and try again. If the error is occurring for me it doesn't matter whether i try from eBay or paypal or the browser I use.

Don't know about you the paypal label has print on the whole sheet, ebay's label has ink on only 1/2 the page. That's why I said less ink.

for me in paypal it still prints 1/2 page. all you have to do is change the print settings in your browser. i scale to 75% for firefox.

are you talking about the label on the bottom half and on the top half stuff like tracking number and how much it cost and your address and shippers address....if so mine used to print like that also but you can change it in the settings...now I get 2 labels per page like im supposed to...the way it seems like your talking about works out well if you use plain paper and keep track of all transactions for tax purposes..

to remove receipt printing and print label instructions and that crap follow these steps

1.Go to the PayPal website and log in to your account.
2.Click the "PayPal MultiOrder Shipping" link on the Account Overview page. The MultiOrder Shipping page opens in a new window.
3.Click "Edit" in the top toolbar and a drop-down menu appears.
4.Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
5.Click "Print Settings."
6.Under Standard Printer, uncheck the box "Print label information and instructions."
7.For receipts, uncheck the "Receipt" box.
8.Click "Apply."
9.Click "Ok."

I printed a shipping label to France just fine today through Paypal.

If the item sells through the eBay Global Shipping Program, it will not allow me to print a label except through eBay.
