Not only do I teach at a small school, I'm also the strength & conditioning/assistant coach for our 6-man football team.

1. Does anyone know of a well-designed play creator? We've got a few iPads to work with and I'm working to digitize our plays. A solid piece of software would make this MUCH easier. I'm about ready to go into photoshop and start doing it all from scratch. If anyone can save me the trouble, it would be GREATLY appreciated.

2. Anyone else have 6-man experience? I'm still wrapping my head around some of the rules and the overall style. Any tips or former coaches who want to PM me, I'd love to hear from you. We likely have the (physically) smallest team in our region, but I can guarantee you we're the fastest.

6 man team? 3 lineman, QB, WR and RB?

It's a unique format.

- Everyone is eligible to be a receiver.
- To run the ball, there must be a handoff in the backfield.
- You must have three men on the line of scrimmage.
- Your two most common formations are: Inverted Pro Set with three linemen and the QB standing behind the two running backs rather than in front of them & a Spread formation with the QB again standing behind the two running backs, the center by himself, and two WRs split to the same side.

Also, "two point conversion" are worth 1 point & "extra points" are worth two points.

just like backyard ball as kids - we would always play 6 (7) on 6.
loved the center snaps to qb and goes a couple of steps then the center gets the pass play. always got yardage because no one ever covered the center

I coach youth football, and I just ended up going in to Photoshop to get what I really wanted. Plus, I like to add little notes at the bottom of the play design, and I couldn't find a playmaker software that gave me that option. Good luck in your search though.
