I've been wanting to bust some Guardians of the Galaxy, but I was in Vegas celebrating my birthday when it first came out. Once I got back, I wanted to buy a case, but it went up in price before I pulled the trigger. Luckily I saw the post on BO last weekend about buying it on UD's website with the 20% off coupon code.
I ordered 12 boxes, and hoped that UD would send me a sealed case. As noted in the BO thread, it does look like UD sold out on their website, since these boxes were actually sent to me by Universal Distribution, one of UD's Canadian distributors! So I'm thankful UD didn't just cancel my order!
When I got the case, I could see it had been opened and re-sealed. GRR!!! Then I opened it, and saw why it had been resealed... they sent me only 11 boxes! I checked the invoice from Universal, and it indicated only 11 boxes in the order. So not sure if they mistyped the order or what, but I was mega worried I was getting some left over boxes from multiple cases. :(

Have to say, very disappointed in my boxtopper sketch! :mad: I've seen many amazing ones, kinda surprised this one made the cut. Just an oversized head sketch really... at this point, I really thought I should stop and sell off the rest of the boxes. Because I was convinced that the box that got taken out had an actor auto in it. However, I can never leave any boxes sealed!

I was cursing myself as I got to the end of this box, since it really looked like I should have sold off these 5 boxes, since they were pretty disappointing! Then in the very last pack, my break was saved, when I hit a brother to the Pratt I hit in Box #4:

Great way to end the break, and I'm happy I finally got to join in on the fun. Looks like it's one (almost) and done for me on this set, unless I find a case on sale.
If anyone can id the unknown characters and artist, I would appreciate it!
