I was hoping they would use at least a few of the comic characters. I doubt there will be the same push from the comic community that there has been with the first series.

I'm highly skeptical about this. My cynical opinion is that they're about to take everything that's successful about The Walking Dead, beat it to death with Lucille, and pump out a sad shadow of the show that's doomed for failure. I mean, do we really need 2 of the same thing when the first is successful? It didn't work with Once Upon A Time, it won't work with this. I'd love to be wrong about this though and I'll certainly give it a fair shot.

Hmmm...if they intend to keep the Walking Dead on for years and years to come, not sure how people don't get a little tired of it. I'll wait, don't get me wrong, but doesn't seem necessary from a creativity standpoint other than another money-pump. At least comic readers will be fully surprised.
