I don't know if I've ever mentioned it before(probably have...), but I do a weekly "appreciation" article for a website called Comics Illustrator of the Week.

It's a very popular weekly contest/website called illustrationfriday.com, so it's been a lot fun to share great comic book artists with folks who may not normally pay attention to comics.

This week I featured Bill Sienkiewicz (http://illustrationfriday.com/2014/10/comics-illustrator-of-the-week-bill-sienkiewicz/), since he just had that disturbing variant hit stores for Wytches #1.

Anyways, I appreciate you junkies taking the time to take a look. I had a blast curating the pictures for it! :)

Awesome story! I actually had him on my mind the other day because I was looking at The Sandman: Endless Nights with the whole Milo Manara fiasco. But I remembered that one of my favorites stories was "Delirium" which Sienkiewicz had illustrated. It's so great how he captured the personality and madness of each character in that story. Thanks for sharing!

Edit: BTW Manara illustrated the "Desire" story if that tells you anything about his artwork!

Ahhhh it's all coming together now!

A cautionary tale: I ordered spaghetti with marinara sauce at Olive Garden the other day, and the waiter brought me what I assumed was pasta Alfredo, so I said,"excuse me, garcon! there seems to be a mistake here!" and he replied, "But, sir! Did you not order the Spaghetti with Manara's sauce??"

I was sooo embarrassed, so I just ate it, anyways... :p
