I found someone selling this for $200. I've been out of the comic game for a long time, is this a good deal?

I'd personally pass -- the Wizard & Hero magazines aren't really collected anymore.

I would pass at that price, and I'd be hard pressed to give them $25 for it all.
I've noticed comic collections have been on the rise on Craigslist and in auction houses over the last year, the problem is most if not all of these people think they have a bucket of gold they're trying to unload on someone. 9 out of 10 times, it's not, it's closer to Fools Gold than the actual element. I'm glad you came in here and asked first as we have a lot of experienced collectors and buyers who hang out here and are more than willing to give you sage advice.

i'd definitely pass on that deal. $200 could be well spent on something like else like a cgc graded comic signed by stan lee

I feel like it's almost a right of passage for a collector to overpay on a worthless lot of 90's comics. But yea, pass on this and be very cautious of craigslist when it comes to comics.

Good point! I KNOW I've bought my fair share of over produced boxes of 90's comics in the past

Not a good deal at all. Hopefully, you didn't make the purchase. Anything that says "collectors item" is anything but.
