Not sure if everyone has saw this yet, but this is an EPIC Topps FAIL! So, they took Mike Piazza (HOF'er) and made a card in Supreme....patch auto...pretty sweet. Problem is...the auto is of Mike Piazza (Angels prospect)
Huh-LARIOUS

OR did he change his auto and Topps put Mets' Mike Piazza autographs on Angels' Mike Piazza's Pro Debut cards?
Ahh? Ahh?
Nah.

Remember sometimes Topps corrects their mistakes in style...

now how exactly is this a problem?
You have a card with a picture of a guy named "Mike Piazza."
That card has an autograph of a "Mike Piazza."
Does it state anywhere on the card that those two have to be from the same "Mike Piazza?"
hope you catch the sarcasm

this autograph not from any specific mike piazza....
how does that get out the door? just amazing how something like that can get produced w/o being glanced at for 0.5 seconds by someone with enough knowledge to know approximately what hof piazza's sig looks like. are these cards made in a sweat shop?

You really don't know much about card production do you?
Anyway, this is hardly unprecedented. See, Frank Thomas.
Heck, all of Jordan Swagerty's Elite Autographs had Magic Johnson Autographs on them.

Sweat shop no, low-pay low-skill non-sports-fan non-card-collector factory labor yes.

frank thomas, yes i've seen it. the only one that is remotely understandable is ryan braun, because i believe there are two guys with this name and their sigs are REALLY similar.
still, regardless of the sweat shop conditions of production, you would think there is someone supervising or doing qc that has just a tiny bit of knowledge.

Everyone at Topps deserves one punch in the face per person.
This is the Toppsiest thing they've done yet.
Nah, that'd be sending people empty envelopes containing packing slips that claim their Kris Bryant autos are in the empty envelope and marking said redemptions as fulfilled.

Saw this (or maybe one like it) on Twitter. Guy said as a mets fan, he was proud to pull it. :o. This is a big time fail, but, this autograph is not certified to be signed by any specific Mike Piazza. :D

I still find mixing up the Bill Wennington and Bill Walton autos in Panini's Private Signings cards (25 of each, special promotion for buying boxes at full MSRP from them at NBA Finals time) to be worse.
