This is why I buy high end singles - I can pick and choose.

Where does the seller state that it was pack pulled as such? Maybe they caused the damage somehow accidentally.

In any case, something so pricey should have top notch QC.

It's not the first of these I've seen with problems. I've noticed several cards with the paper foil parts lifting/chipping a bit today. Nothing as bad as that Lott though.

Does Panini not replace Flawed Flawless cards? I believe that there is a breach of contract somewhere there when a card doesn't even live up to its brand name

Lott could be having post football issues. There are lots of players who get a shaky signature later in life.

Well then they better give you something for them of equal or greater value. Leaving you with a damaged card is unacceptable.

I think they can only replace the base non autos? I'd imagine that would be easier since all you'd need is a backup and no auto or relic which may or may not be obtainable now. I once attempted to buy a 1/1 from a member here and the foil was separating from the card so much that the backing was coming off, straight out of the pack. He sent it back to Panini and they destroyed it and replaced it with an identical card and stamped up the 1/1. Took great care of him, but it didn't need any special treatment like an auto or relic.
