Does anyone know what the size/value the diamonds are in flawless? Just curious on both size and the value is on just the diamond. Any insight is appreciated.-Benjamin:flex:

Hard to value the diamonds when people will be paying for the player on the card. I remember Momentum and Gold Standard doing this a few years back.
Any jeweler on the forums????

Someone asked this about basketball. The diamonds aren't anything special. Worth a few dollars.

$5-10 at MOST for melee that size

Low gem quality likely $1-2

Most likely the cheapest junk diamonds they can buy in wholesale lots.

This. There's 20 per player with 120 players and I'm not even including the emerald parallels. There's no way they're spending good money on these.

They are much less than a dollar. You can buy lots of hundreds of them for under 50 dollars. Panini isn't crazy enough to put VS quality stones to lower their margins. These are pure gimmick.

Ok thanks for the info/answers, reminds me of the guy who ripped the gold out of a gold standard card to weigh the gold in it. I still want one but will wait till they come down in price.

I'm a gemologist and the one in my Kellen Winslow base card is a .03 H-I SI-2, actually clean and white, not terrible. Full brilliant cut(not a crummy single cut), my shop buys this size and quality melee for $125 a carat and sell it for $750(like when we replace a small side diamond that fell out). We'd pay $3.75 for this diamond and sell it for $22.50.

Not bad at all!!! Surprised the colour is as good as H. I just bought an engagement ring so I'm clued up on all this jazz at the moment. :D
