So I'm looking at Triple Threads 2014 cards on ebay and I see this George Brett 1/1 Blank Back Base card thats selling for $27.09 as of right now. I click on it and nowhere on the listing does it show the back. It looks like a standard base card. I'm thinking its a regular base card since they aren't showing the back.
Heres the link 2014 Topps Triple Threads Baseball 1 1 Blank Back George Brett Royals | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/2014-Topps-Triple-Threads-Baseball-1-1-Blank-Back-George-Brett-ROYALS-/201202765196?pt=US_Baseball&hash=item2ed89e8d8c)
This guy is selling more 1/1 Blank Back's.

They are from the topps vault, the sticker shown in the description is on the back to prove authenticity. Sort of a novelty item in my opinion

It's legit. It is the topps company selling the cards.

Oh ok, I wasn't sure if it was topps. I'd never pay $30 for a standard base with a blank back. At the end of the day its still a base card.

Topps generally puts out "blank back 1/1s directly from their vault" on eBay of basically every base card they produce. I haven't bought any, but I would if it was cheap enough and of my PC player. I pretty much think this is Topps trying to squeeze money out of us wherever they can again

Yeah, it came from Topps Vault so it's legit.

I figured he was trolling with an anti-Topps joke.

I never heard of a blank back base card, and I didn't know Topps had a ebay. I know the ebay said topps, but for all I know it could have been someone who sells topps cards. It was an honest question.

Ive never understood why Topps would intentionally sell blank back cards. It just seems stupid to me

It's ok, we forgive you. It's just that normally, this is type of question that produces a much more entertaining thread than this has been. It's not your fault.

Holy wow! I saw that! That was insane! I'm sure he's having issues, but that was...I don't think I've ever seen a thread explode to 5+ pages so fast.

It got deleted. It was about a member asking for money to help get through a rough patch but had also bought into some breaks...
The mob was relentless. Probably the biggest thread backfire in months.

I don't forgive him. I guess if all you look at is the picture and item name you may be suspicious, but come on.
First of all, the seller, thetoppsvault. Second, read the description, it explains exactly what the card is. Third, the Topps legal mumbo jumbo at the bottom of the page.
Really not that hard to figure out whats going on if you look at more than the picture.
