Panini Flawless Autograph Jersey Broncos Peyton Manning 13 15 2014 | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Panini-Flawless-Autograph-Jersey-Broncos-Peyton-Manning-13-15-2014-/221595272233?pt=US_Football&hash=item33981b8429)
You'd think players would understand that the HUGE white space at the top would be where the auto goes. Or you could just be like Desean Jackson and sign them in both spots....

The misplaced auto legitimately reduces the price of that card by 60% or more.

Sure seem to be a lot of flaws in this product for it to be called Flawless...

I saw that today also and thought that was so stupid...are they trying to add value by doing that? Thats just dumb IMO. I would pay much less for that card that one with a normal autograph where it should be.

Damn that card is ruined for many collectors, what a shame.

I dont think this is the signers fault.
Some of these are signed twice, on the patch and in the space.
A communication error here.
Either way the cards value wont be effected.
It's still a great looking card.

Does Panini not tell them where to sign? I feel like they should tell them where the auto needs to go, I dunno about anyone else.

there is no QC at Panini. you'd think for a product this expensive they could at least pretend to care. of course they'll just blame the athletes.
it was the same with Flawless basketball. most companies would learn from a mistake so it doesn't happen again.... not Panini though.

Clearly, the design has a flaw. Even a reasonable and smart person like Peyton would sign in a wrong place.

Bwwahahahahaaha.
There is only 15 of them, if all 15 are the same, price wont be effected.
If 14 have two autos, then this could fetch more.
If they are split, 7 with two autos, then one will have a lower price, and guess would be this one.
So as this is the first, price cant be effected until a second one turns up.
In saying that, being the first will automatically get it a high price, if the second pops up with two autos, then it would go higher.

I guess I'm in the minority since I actually like it better with the auto on the patch. Looks cool to me.

Cards with autos on the patch sell for much, much less than other cards with traditional on-card autos. Everyone knows that patch autos bleed and fade over the years. You'll just have to trust me on this one.

I wouldnt mind it if there was not a big blank white spot on the card now. It just looks unfinished or like something is missing to me. The right person might pay more for the card this way though you just never know. Might take a little longer to find just the right buyer.

The only thing worse than that auto is the BIN price

It is Peyton. He can take a crap, sign his name with it, and it still won't effect the value.

This is good too! Ha

Oh, they do. They (Topps does too) put a sample card with a label on it that says "SIGN HERE" in the desired auto location with the stack of similar cards.
Perhaps the signatory witness suggested it? Who the hell knows or cares?

If these were sticker autos none of this would have happened!
