It happens every year...Richard Sherman wasn't a "Hot Rookie" in 2011 the year he was drafted for example and had to wait until 2012 for cards/autos to pop up. So, who are some players who the 'Card Industry' missed on with either no offical Rookie Cards or the lack of autographs for 2014:
- ALLEN HURNS, WR JAGS - Only Sage Hit Autos.
- BRANDON OLIVER, RB CHARGERS - No Cards.
- TAYLOR GABRIEL, WR BROWNS - No Cards.
*All 3 of these guys are possible ROY!

Carr not being at the Rookie Premiere was unfortunate, in more ways than one.

Happened to Zac Stacy last year. He got cards in the later products just like those 3 guys you named will.

You got the three I was thinking of. But to be fair, it's impossible to project low-round/UDFA players.
I believe that's why Finest has those Mystery Auto Redemptions (last year was Kenbrell Thompkins) and also why NT and Five Star are the last products; they want to be able to include late year bloomers in the big products.

This thread shouldn't be made until after Contenders... there is a lot of product left for 2014.

Gabriel and Hurns could carve out careers in the NFL. I think Oliver flashed, and then showed his true colors, he will be one of those guys that plays for about 5-6 teams before retiring.

Corey Washington, Wide Receiver, New York Giants. Yes he only has one touchdown catch and seen action in one NFL regular season game, but the dude can flat out play.

I don't think they care, people haven't really been buying into the hype too heavily, rookies have been doing well and people haven't cared..........mostly people just buying cards cheap because they collect teams & stuff or either high end...... people are passing on the low/mid-range stuff. terrance west had a 100 yard game with 6.3 per carry and his auto's can be had for under $10, sometimes under $5.......lol

That does seem to be the trend right now; low-end to PC and team collectors, and high-end for the big names. The $20-50 cards seem to be moving really slowly.
