Anybody read Becketts article on the 25 most impactful cards of the past 25 years? Would like hear from u guys if u agree or disagree with Thier picks?

Yes i read that and agreed with most of them, but not the Russell Wilson Contenders.

Wilson contenders were selling very well and rising until the last month. They just dropped off.

...and that 1990 Pro Set "Lombardi Trophy" hologram card, I think was one of the first individually crash numbered cards released and you heard stories of people using metal detectors to trace the foil on the cards, and dealers were paying $500 for that card at one time. That was one of the original "pack busting" chase cards

I loved that they included this card in the article, probably the only pro set card worth something.

I actually picked up one of the William Perry's off of COMC some time ago. Back in the day that was one of THE cards to have.

Also pro set had the santa claus chase card. They were worth alot too.

Yeah I remember that one. What about the 1990 Pro Set Jeff George. That card was smoking hot too with the variations.
