Look at it this way. How much are you willing to pay for 6 base and 2 refractor autos of your player, because that's pretty close to average expectation for an auto slot?
IMO there are a bunch of guys who are already well over value.

Damn, yea I did a quick calculation on the guys I want compared to last years class. I'm expecting at least $1500 for the 7 or so spots I'm looking at. With the ebay sold listings not able to project to last years release, do you remember how much the base and refractor autos of Lacy, Manuel, Geno, Alonso, and Allen went for last year?

Debating on whether to gamble on it or not. :turkey:

I think a lot of people dive in and don't calculate how many autos your going to get. Remember it's only 8 autos on average. People spending thousands for the "chance" that one of those 8 is a rare auto is kinda nuts. The non auto player lots are where the steals are.

It doesn't, it only makes it worse. Once you start doing multiple cases going back to boxes or just 1 case doesn't get your fix.

I'm comparing the Chrome to Contenders 20 casers. Is Contenders really that much more popular? I always assumed Chrome was king.

If this is run by BO, they don't need $40K to break even. 50 cases at $800 each is $40K, but BO plays somewhere in the low to mid $600s. It's more like the low $30Ks.
