NCAA looking into Kentucky

According to a source who was interviewed by an NCAA investigator, the agency is interested in at least four players -- two current and two who were just drafted by NBA teams.

In the case of one former Wildcat, we're told the NCAA wants to know about his relationship with his current agent. We're told the investigator asked about multiple meetings the agent allegedly had with the player ... dating back to the player's senior year in high school.

The insinuation is the agent had an arrangement with the player before he went to Kentucky.

It is a violation of NCAA rules for a student athlete to receive anything of value from an agent -- or
to have any agreements, verbally or in writing, with an agent. Just ask USC, Reggie Bush or OJ Mayo.

Kentucky "declined comment" -- and a rep for the NCAA tells us, "The NCAA does not comment on current, pending or potential investigations."

do a search on the post when coach cal got hired, I said then Kentucky was going to get in trouble at some point in the next few years. (I went to UMass so I have been through it), someone on these boards is a huge kentucky homer and said I was just jealous and it was the players fault and not the Coaches...HA to you!!

If people knew anything, they'd know the NCAA already knew about Wall/Clifton. That is why Wall had to pay money back and was suspended the first two games of the season.

It has nothing to do with Cal, Wall/Clifton have been together since Walls dad died. Had Wall went to Duke like Clifton wanted, we'd

What I find funny is all the Kentucky fans I know all thought Cal was a cheat at Memphis and now go hoarse defending him against the 'haters'. I don't wish any ill to any program but if Kentucky ends up in trouble then I'm guessing those same fans will tell me they knew he was no good from the start and hated the hire. My brother is a huge Kentucky fan and is one of the few I know that is against Cal.

That's one of the funny things about sports. The player/coach doesn't change what makes him who he is, he just changes teams and people do 180s in the blink of an eye.

What's funny is that you assume that because the UK fans YOU know thought that, then ALL UK fans think that, lol!

I've been on Rivals main message boss forever so you can go there and check it out, but I have ALWAYS wanted Cal at UK, way before Flubby even bolted.

Cal has ZERO violations under his belt, very few coaches can say that. His problem is the players he recruits and lands. I say land because EVERY coach recruits the Walls and Roses of the world. K at Duke wanted Wall in the worse way and Clifton is good friends with K and tried his hardest to get Wall to Duke. Had he went to Duke, nothing like this would be heard about just like the Maggete/Duke case that is STILL "open investigation" a decade later even though Maggete has admitted too and signed papers saying he received money prior to Duke, exact same thing that went down at UMASS but guess what, Dukes final four run and wins are still good to go, lol.

I said TMZ gets a story right, but they get ten or so stories wrong before landing one. LOL at TMZ
