Topps Announces Additions to 2015 Tribute MLB

TOPPS ADDS MORE TO TRIBUTE
Topps is pleased to announce that it has made some great additions to 2015 Topps Tribute.

*The limited edition Milestone Baseball Relics insert, which includes an MLB authentication sticker on every card, has been expanded. 2015 will feature 40 different subjects including game-used baseballs from Masahiro Tanaka’s first MLB start, Albert Pujols’ 500th HR game, Clayton Kershaw’s debut game and many more. Also, the special insert will include a subset of World Series Baseball Relics featuring San Francisco Giants stars such as Buster Posey and Madison Bumgarner.

*Dimensions of the Game is an all-new three dimensional memorabilia piece featuring an autographed baseball. It includes the likes of Clayton Kershaw, Hank Aaron and Don Mattingly.

*And…2015 Topps Tribute goes back to its original configuration of 3 Autographs and 3 Relics per box. This move allows the Topps team to offer a stronger autograph subject list and offer the value and collectability that Tribute fans have come to expect. He must have seriously pissed Topps off. I know at one point he had outstanding redemptions in 8 or 9 products, but I am pretty sure he ended up signing them all (less my 1/1 Purely Platinum Auto), even though it took 2 sessions to get them all done.

You haven't seen the other 75% of players on the auto checklist, all of whom will be $2-$4 players. Topps always does a nice job of conveniently leaving out the not so good names on their sell sheet preview.

Same here, I like Tribute and how it looks but it always seems dirt cheap on the secondary market.

I think Tribute always looks very nice but I refuse to buy wax because you don't get anything close to what you paid for the box. If you buy singles you can get x5 the value you would from wax at the same price.

It is a great singles product for the price but I even avoid those as I strongly dislike horizontal cards. Shame too as there are always guys I want and for great prices. I wouldn't ever bust it though.

Definitely looks nice. I like the shine but i feel its been downgraded since 2010/11. I wouldn't drop more than 150 into a box of this and thats it.

I'd have to agree with this. Horizontal cards are definitely not my preference but since the autographs are on-card I feel compelled to buy if one of my PC players is in the set.

I also agree with this. The design has pretty much remained the same since 2012 but each year they tweak it a bit making it just a little bit crappier. I'm also not a fan of the massive increasing numbers of color parallels.

Even worse are three packs with 1.00 jersey cards. At least Dynasty had sick patches with autos. For a 50.00 pack, you should be getting only Hofer jersey cards or superstar patch cards. This crap is what we get when one company has a monopoly on baseball cards.
