If you didn't watch The Flash tonight but love Arrow, watch it. It has things to do with Arrow. Arrow is there in Starling and helps out the Flash..Important things...Great Episode of The Flash btw also..And nice to see Oliver there..

I REALLY enjoyed the episode. Hands down my favorite comic book related show episode to date. I didn't really understand how they used the villains but I understand they wanted to showcase more Flash v Arrow. Just was confusing at the end when they jump to locking him up. Loved the line Ollie used about having a place like that but his was on an island haha. Can't wait till tonight to see the last half.

its a good time to be a dc series fan
arrow has been great
flash is starting out strong and tie ins aplenty with the dc U
Gotham is looking to be good (have not seen it yet)
and supergirl is en route
it would rock if they tied this all in one before the days of batman

Watching the first episode of Gotham was kind of rough.. the acting felt over the top but I've adjusted to it over time as the story progressed and I think the actors have as well. I think the Flash feels the most natural, followed by Arrow and then Gotham. Gotham 'should' be number one though IMO since there's no cheesy special effects needed for that show.. it just needs a strong acting cast and a good story. There's something about Jim Gordon that bothers me a little every time he opens his mouth.. Fish Mooney I can't stand either. Overall I'm still a fan though of all 3 shows.

Arrow and Flash are so good, finally convinced a friend of mine to catch up on netflix and hes' happy I did. He didn't see the hype as its a WB show but once he started watching he agrees outstanding. Both shows are building and soon the bigger DC universe will be here. After this latest flash and arrow team up on both shows its setting the stage for Justice League I can feel it!

I did. I was surprised they said the "B" word. I had to double take it cuz I didn't believe what I heard at first.

It is a great time to be a superhero fan in general. Some might argue that comic related properties are over exposed, but as long as studios keep making engaging shows and movies, I am all for it.
My wife is not a comic fan by any means, but I think that she enjoys the shows/movies almost as much as I do. "They" (collectively) are doing a good job to bring in a broader audience.
I am interested in the Supergirl show, but hope that they don't shy away from her powers. Smallville already covered that territory, so anything less than full powered would seem a little shallow.

Yeah that's true. I read someone mentioning how the set looks like it was from twenty years ago..like the cars and stuff but if you look far into the background you see modern day vehicles driving around..so that kind of ruined things a little for me but I try not to pay that close to detail.
I meant more in lines of the action sequences.. Flash does a pretty decent job in the effects department like when he's running. The Arrow doesn't feel as smooth..i don't know... maybe its cause I have a hard time believing a guy with an arrow is untouchable.. I was never a fan of arrow weapons but I do enjoy the show. Gotham doesn't have any super natural stuff happening so thats what I meant by all it needs is solid acting..the story seems okay so far. There's a big difference between movie studio effects and tv show effects..when things don't feel realistic i lose focus.
In the Arrow vs Flash episode..besides the Batman reference.. the Captain calls Barry "Bart" Flash..which gave me a good chuckle...being the 4th? Flash from the DC Universe.

I honestly don't think there is a better actor on the comic book tv shows than the man playing Penguin. He is incredible
