View Full Version : Finally...I got my Holy Grail

I have wanted Babe Ruth's autograph ever since I started collecting, but I never dreamed I would actually own one. I'm not much of a big spender. Well, I decided to sell off a few things in my collection, and I was able to make enough money to pick this up. Even though the cut has browned due to the tape, I couldn't be happier. I also love the fact that there is a notation citing the exact date, place, and time this was signed. 1 year before he died no less.

nice pickup I am going after something like this myself this year I plan on buying something similar to this and also a Gehrig and I am going to buy a nice picture of the two and have it matted and framed I think it will look amazing

i hope so, as long as you get a jsa, psa, steiner certified auto you should be good and there are some cool pictures of the two guys and it will be alot cheaper then buying two pack pulled cut autos

That is an amazing piece. The mix of materials and care that was taken by what appears to be one or more owner and treasurer of the sig really gives it an accessible and archive feel.

I actually agree, the guy comes off as a jerk in 90% of his posts. But when you have the time to make 100 posts a day I guess a few of them will come off that way. :coffee:
