Bowman Chrome "First Year Card"

Hey all. I've been out of the hobby for 2-3 years and I'm noticing that the new BC cards no longer have that "First Card" moniker on them. Is there a reason for that? Can someone explain the change to me. Thanks

The last time they had the "First Card" logo was back in 2012. I don't know why, I guess they just decided not to do it anymore.

With how confusing it is to figure out which card is a rookie card nowadays I wish they would've just kept it on there
