December Pickups

Post your December pickups ! Taking a page from the venerable vintage forum Net54, thought a monthly Pickups thread would be fun :)!

Just purchased 2 boxes of 2010 Platinum from blowout, it's one of the only earlier releases with both Sonny and Trout... decent chance at their autos, plus some nasty booklets. Also has autos of Cutch, Goldy, Stras, Springer, Heyward, etc. I figure I can set-build if all else fails.

I'll try to remember to post the break whether it's good or bad.

Sold an album of Franklin silver half dollars (that I'd almost forgotten about, not a coin collector) for 281 to more than cover the costs, since I rarely pick up boxes. :D

Also picked this up. Opening it VERY slowly. Have pulled Duffy and CarGo pinks /25, and a Jose Tabata plate with 7 packs to go.
Working on getting some new stuff before the new year :).

Good idea. Stickied monthly would be great and would eliminate the flood of mail day threads.

Only real big acquisition thus far... Going to try to pick up another nice one after my next paycheck. Can't wait to have it in hand.

I went overboard on Black Friday and ended up with some decent things...got an Immaculate Abreu redemption, Jaina got a 1962 Topps Ernie Banks Auto, and my youngest, Judi hit a 2014 TTT 1/1 Auto Patch of Matt Adams. There were other cool things but those are off the top of my head.

I hope at least 2 out of these 3 will make the hall of fame..

2 definitely will and even Wright has a shot one day...who knows? :)
