View Full Version : Why would a Mike Mussina card have the 'Cooperstown Collection' logo on the back?

Was wondering why they would put this logo on the back of a Mussina card. He has not been elected (yet!), as many of us know. It was my assumption that Topps only used these logos on HOF players. Is Topps predicting the future?! Better yet, do they know of the future?

I thought that all retired players had that logo (don't know why...).

I would induct Mussina. He's more of a borderline candidate who sneaks in for me. I'd have voted for him over Jack Morris.

Oh, you are right. After checking, the cards of actual HOF players have a different HOF logo as well.

Glad the moose was pictured in the oriole uniform instead of the yankee one.
