I've opened 5 cases so far, love this stuff. I can't remember the last time I had this much fun sorting through cards, it takes me back to the days when my dad would buy me boxes of '87 Topps as a kid. So fun.
I'm going to try to complete the set and I'm definitely going to hold on to all the Giants stuff as well as a few others that I really like. My question is: When should I sell the cards I don't want? Ebay seems to be flooded right now. I did get an offer of $90 for my Frank Thomas non-auto Red Storm Diffractor /10. Is that fair based on what others have seen?

I was very pleasantly surprised by this product. Before it came out I thought it would be an absolutely horrendous design. Watched a few cases broken and I had to get in on some. The price is pretty amazing too.
I'm curious as to peoples consensus about selling too. I pulled an Abreu auto #d/50 and I'm not sure how to go about it. I know its usually best to sell right away with a new product, but I feel like waiting until spring training might be a better idea. I wonder if selling upon release is still a good concept in the offseason.

Just list it at BIN higher than going rate and wait if you can. As you said, ebay is flooded right now, but that will eventually dry up.

That's exactly what I've been doing so far. I'm just going to wait a few weeks I think then do auctions for the cards that haven't sold.

In my opinion, there are enough Big Hurt collectors to keep the demand up, but they'll definitely fight over the first few copies of a rare version/parallel.
I know I've overpaid for a few of the variations I've picked up so far, as you never know when/if they'll show up again. That being said, I'd think $90 is a pretty fair offer, but I honestly haven't been following Thomas prices on this product.

Thanks for the info. I haven't been following him much either. I got 5 offers in about 12 hours though so I wanted to make sure I didn't sell low. I need to sell some of this so I can buy more!
