BGS and dynasty thoughts

I want to send my dynasty Mcgwire autos to get slabbed (so my collection is uniform in appearance ). My question is should I leave them incased or bust and put in a card saver? Don't even care bout the grade just the look. Would be awesome to get a black label on the black cards. That would be great even though it would never happen.

Unless BGS has changed their policies, they do not accept encased cards. In the past they sent back encased cards requiring it be removed from the case. I would check their website just in case. Good luck.

They will accept and keep magnets.

They will not accept screw downs.

They will however accept 100 dollar bills.

Why would they take a magnetic but not a screw down? Ive also heard that if you leave a "tip" that the card gets a better grade, any truth to that?

A screw down can cause damage to a card if it is screwed down too tightly. I am sure BGS doesn't want to open one and see foil sticking to the plastic case and have to explain that to someone who sent the card in thinking it was perfect.
