Help & opinions on me possibly wanting to sell my 86 Fleer MJ RC

Guys I have been debating recently whether I want to just go ahead and list my 1986 Fleer Jordan BGS 9 RC with subs: 10 centering, 9.5 edges, 9 corners, and 9 surface! So a BGS 9+++ basically.

We have bills ect and my wife & I have been noticing the big spikes in MJ rcs...


My question to you fellow collectors is: Do you think now is the best time to sell this iconic card if circumstances force you to? Or do you think there still might be big room to grow on high end 9's?

Because I've been seeing PSA 9's and high end BGS 9's going for almost 3k .... You think one like mine could go above 3k more than likely?

I guess it depends on how badly you need the cash at the moment.

Prices have been creeping up pretty steadily in recent months and you might be able to get more if you hold off for a little while and ride the wave upward.

That said, with your card's 10 centering, you'll be able to command a premium whenever you sell it and we all know that, even if prices settle down a bit, you'll still make some good money off of it.

To the op, you make it seem like you need the money but then you ask when you can maximize your haul. It is few and infrequent when the need for money and the ability to capitalize at the highest point align.

It will continue to go up, so save it.

2 things to consider. If you are in need to sell to cover bills (credit card/mortgage etc, taking a couple hundred loss by not waiting for peak is better than paying penalties/cc interest if you decide to wait and can't cover payments.


Realistically 100-300 increase in value over a 6 month period. .. why not try to get a regarded or psa cross?

Sell, it is a good time and with your subs you should def be making a nice profit. There will always be more cards
